An 80-year-old woman who remembers when the United States helped defeat the Nazis faces charges for tearing down posters of President Barack Obama with a Hitler mustache.
Nancy Lack said she was livid when she saw the posters, put up by supporters of perennial fringe presidential candidate Lyndon LaRouche, outside of her post office in Hebron, Conn., NBC Connecticut reported.
"My generation went through the Second World War, and Nazism is about the worst there can be," Lack told NBC Connecticut. "I just got very angry that they would do that to Obama’s image."
She took down the posters, knowing she would get in trouble for it, and put them in her car while a worker with LaRouchePAC followed her.
Afterward, she was arrested and now faces sixth-degree larceny and breach of peace charges.
"I guess I deserved it. I stole the posters," she said, adding that she stood by her actions.

I don’t condone the posters, but I support the right of citizens to speak out. It’s called free speech. By applauding the actions of someone to remove political free speech that you find offensive, are you not behaving the same way the Nazi’s did? Censorship is wrong and should not be applauded.
BTW, George Soros was a Nazi Collaborator in WWII, and is also a major supporter of 0bama. Do you find Soros reprehensible, and by extension, do you find 0bama reprehensible for taking money from George Soros, a Nazi Collaborator?
And for the record, my father fought against the Nazi’s in WWII. In other words, he fought to save your parents.
And the icing on the cake would be to have all that recorded and posted to Youtube! LOL
Political correctness has it’s victim group pecking order. Jewish Americans are not at the top anymore. In the past, the media would go on a witch hunt rip over these posters and the old lady would not have had to do anything.
But I agree that nobody should take it upon themselves to cleanse the public square of political speech and advertising they do not like. When she sees a poster she doesn’t like, she knows not to vote for the idiot who put it up. She is free to put up posters in opposition to political speech she dislikes.
They should have posed him as Stalin or a jihadist on the poster.

The problem with them is that they show up during TEA PARTY rallies, and the media assume they're one of us. These Larouche PAC people are why you kept hearing "These Tea Partiers have signs that show Obama as Hitler."
When people see them with their Obama/Hitler posters in front of post offices here in CT (how do they get away with this?) people associate them with US - conservatives and Tea Party types - and that's not a good thing.

If this had been someone else’s private property, I would have a problem with it. Public property. No.
If someone hung a poster across from your house on public property of a man having sex with a 2-year-old girl, would you leave it there?
