SAN FRANCISCO (CBS 5) — The head of the U.S. Senate’s Intelligence Committee said Wednesday that it appeared an intelligence mistake along with inadequate security were to blame for the Sept. 11 terrorist attack on the American Embassy in Benghazi, Libya that claimed the lives of Ambassador Chris Stevens, a Bay Area native, and three others.
“I can tell you this, I think we do know what happened now. There’s no question but that it was a terrorist attack, there is no question but that the security was inadequate and I think that there is no question that we need to work on our intelligence,” said Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) during an exclusive interview with CBS 5.
Feinstein’s comments came one day after a spirited back-and-forth exchange between President Barack Obama and challenger Mitt Romney in their second debate over the assault on the consulate. Romney claimed the attack was a symptom of weakness in Obama’s foreign policy.

Particularly when she said they need to work on their intelligence. We have been saying that about liberals and Democrats for a long time.
Whoever the intellegence “mistake” was, get rid of the idiot and whoever reports to him/her before he causes an even bigger loss of American life.
While we are at it, find out who is making the “mistake” of putting Taliban jihadists on our bases to murder our soldiers. Also, there’s some treasonous idiots in a military school who have been war gaming against the Tea Party. Get rid of them all before they murder any other Americans, please.
I guess we should cover all the bases and find out who is making the “mistake” in DHS and naming Obama’s political and social enemies and our Vets “domestic terrorists” and who made the mistake of hiring people with criminal backgrounds in TSA and ordering these agents to sexually molest grannies and grandpas, sick people with surgical wounds to uncover, and handicapped children as they pass through our airports. Something tells me DHS might be making a “mistake” in the jihadist department, too.
I could go on with more mistakes that are going to get us killed but that is enough for now. :(

Somebody got this ambassador killed because of their stupidity and negligence. I hope they sleep well at night, but that's assuming they have a conscience.
The White House received the intelligence warning. I bet they tried to wake the president and he told them to “get out” and let him sleep. Now they are trying to cover up their unresponsiveness by looking for a (not) guilty party to take the blame, and finding no one, they have to say that it wasn’t terrorism at all. So much for another false denial from the amateur pretender president. We cannot be free of him soon enough.

Feinstein announced Bin Laden before Obama did. I think this is a jab at the whole administration -rather than trying to cover for OBama.
