As a longtime watcher of politics for going on thirty years, I've seen both parties and the corrupt media grab hold of some inane nonsense in my time, but this "binders full of women" meme is so inane I actually had to ask around to understand what the corrupt media and the left was on about and why the execrable Carol Costello was labeling it the "Binder Blunder" on CNN.
Here's an example of the phony outrage I'm seeing:
Why did the phrase resonate? Because it was tone deaf, condescending and out of touch with the actual economic issues that women are so bothered about. The phrase objectified and dehumanized women. It played right into the perception that so many women have feared about a Romney administration – that a president Romney would be sexist and set women back.

“Binders full of women” — yeah that’s something that pimply teenage boys might be excused for giggling about. But all these commentators are supposed to be adults, right? I guess not.
I don’t remember where but someone pointed out this was mere execu-speak for notebooks full of resumes. Doggone it, Mitt was playing the AA game as hard as he could and still wasn’t getting any brownie points from the Democrats. Maybe that’s why he seems to be souring a bit on trying to give Democrats so much of a nod as in the past.

in the “50 shades of grey” circles, binders are a term for restraints. In that pervert community, ‘binders full of women’ could refer to a dungeon of female masochists being run by a male sadist.
I wonder how many voters are as baffled as I am by this “issue.” Romney spoke enthusiastically about hiring women and also wanting to help them balance work and family. It sounded good to me.
I feel like I’m totally not getting something — I don’t expect to agree with Democrats, but in this case I don’t even understand why they’re upset and what the significance of “binders” is. I see an explanation here yet it still makes no sense. People really want to try to turn binders of resumes into something sinister? Is that where half our country is now?
"Binders" is slang for bras and/or girdles.
Bras are supposed to burned, not worn.
Girdles are the offspring of corsets, a torture device women were forced to wear so men would look at them favorably, and marry them, and make them their exclusive personal property.
That, perhaps, was a necessity of the times, though still inexcusable, because women were not allowed by society to be free and self sufficient.

Thus "binders full of women" is Conservative male code for re-enslaving women: putting women back into bras, girdles, and kitchens, as the exclusive property of a man!

Anybody with even an introductory course in Womyn's Studies or Radical Feminism would KNOW this instinctively!!!!! Conservatives are uneducated FOOLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
