Anyone who thinks that Romney or anyone else is going save the USA from its economic collapse is delusional. First off it is too late...Thanks to the former and current administration. Secondly the only way in which it is even possible to try would be political suicide. And no politician is willing to go down that road. The math does not lie.

But seriously, I’m choosing to cast my lot with folks who still have hope. You want to give up, you go right ahead. Defeatism, and negativity always foster self-fullfilling prophesies. There are still a lot of good intelligent folks who haven’t given up yet...I won’t either.

A statement nearly equivalent to that was made about Romney when he stepped in to manage and salvage the Salt Lake Olympics back when.
Sullied by scandal, on the brink of financial disaster, and with federal investigators, bankers, and the press at its door, the Salt Lake Organizing Committee’s senior managers admitted the organization was paralyzed.
But Romney had too much American patriotism to let it become a catastrophe for his country. So he accepted the biggest turnaround challenge of his life.
He FIXED IT to the AMAZEMENT of MANY DOUBTERS and it was a SUCCESS.
