My next door neighbor lost her job in 2010, her unemployment has run out and she still has no job. She'd never been involuntarily separated let alone drawn unemployment, up to that point. She's pursued every lead, sent out countless resumes, had maybe six interviews in that entire time. She was a branch supervisor for a bank. Her savings are almost shot, I talked to her this evening when I got home. BB&T just announced a big call center locally that will eventually employ 1,700, she's very eager to talk to them about any opportunity that might represent. I have no idea what will happen if she doesn't land something soon. She bought that house new in 1993, mine was finished in 1994. We've been neighbors for 18 years. She has a young adopted daughter.

Maybe you should request to have some prayer warriors pray for your neighbor. It is a powerfully effective way of helping those in need.

That would be good. I’ve spoken to her about prayer, she said that’s what is keeping her sane, prayer. She’d welcome it.
