There may be something afoot. If this happens we may have some unexpected wins on Nov 6th.

Too bad they just elected RAT Manchin to the Senate in 2010.

One thing is clear, they need to vote out Tomblin, Manchin and Rahall and all the other Democrats that have kept WV stagnant for 80 years.

ONLY 4 in 10? What type of Ritalin are the other 60 percent on?

It’s happened before, with the “Reagan Democrats” who were so sick of Carter. The WV Dems may have long-standing loyalty to the Dem Party, but the Dem party of 2012 is anti-coal, anti-private-sector, and anti-white-male.

Barack Obama was a fine experiment in democracy.

Voting on the basis of race is never a good idea.

Sadly, they won’t. Joe Manchin has them under a spell. He talks tough and shoots a bullet through Obamacare, then he votes for Harry Reid for Majority Leader so that nothing remotely conservative happens in the Senate. He is leading his Republican opponent by something like 30 points.

Doesn’t WV usually vote Rep for POTUS, and Dem for downticket?

Rats in WV have gotten used to splitting their tickets, but voting straight Republican.....I rather doubt it.

Tomblin will stay.
Manchin will stay.
WV 1, McKinley(R) won by a whisker in 10. Toss-up imo
WV 2, Moore-Cappito(R) stays
WV 3, Rahal(D) stays. In the last election the GOP ran a life-long Rat

Joe Manchin voted for ObamaCare. Please, West Virginians get rid of Manchin. He is a fake phoney fraud. He pretends to support the coal industry while voting the way Harry Reed and Obama tells him to. I dispise Joe ManWhorechin.

I’m a register “non-alligned.” I’m not voting for any of Obama’s ilk! Makes straight ticket the only way to go.

You go Romney!!!!!

By voting Straight Ticket Republican for the first time, many West Virginia Democrats and Independents can join with the Republicans to send the Obamas packing for Chicago.

Florida's turning away from Obama too - we don't want our cities to be as corrupt and vile as Chicago..

This is very believable. I heard from a relative from up there just yesterday. She had picked up her 8-year-old grandson and he began begging her to vote for Mitt Romney because obama was trying to destroy the country! Poor guy, he was truly scared.

It would be fantastic if WV could finally go all red. The economy would boom, Texas style, and they could finally get their marriage amendment to the PEOPLE to decide.

WVA is a solid Red State.

It votes GOP in presidential elections and votes for Democrats on other levels.

This is a Southern state that hasn’t completely left the Democrats behind.
