President Obamas campaign spokeswoman said that he takes responsibility for the security of U.S. diplomats, less than a day after Secretary of State Hillary Clinton took the blame.
President Obama takes responsibility for the safety and security of all diplomats serving overseas, said Obama campaign spokeswoman Jen Psaki on Fox News today. Secretary Clinton of course has a great amount of responsibility as Secretary of State.
Psaki denied that Clintons remarks were a coordinated roll-out to shelter Obama ahead of the debate, as Foxs Shepard Smith suggested.
I take responsibility, Clinton told CNN during a trip to Peru yesterday. The president and the vice president wouldnt be knowledgeable about specific decisions that are made by security professionals.
Three Republican senators replied by arguing that the buck stops with Obama. If the President was truly not aware of this rising threat level in Benghazi, then we have lost confidence in his national security team, whose responsibility it is to keep the President informed, said Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., Sen. Kelly Ayotte, R-N.H., and Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., in a joint statement.

Maybe Obama will go so far as to mimic James Cagney as Rocky in Angels With Dirty Faces. He may go “yellow” at the debate.
“Yeah, I killed the diplomats, please don’t vote me out, it wasn’t Hilary it was me! Oh God, please don’t take my presidency!!!!”
Is it true, fada, did Obama really go yella at the debate?
Yes son, it’s true, Obama went out a coward, now let’s all go to church and say a prayer for a president who was never as quick as the Clintons.
Better yet, file criminal charges against both of them and use their admission of guilt to prosecute.
Imagine the highest levels of our government politicizing a terrorist attack solely for the purpose of ‘disarming the opposition’ for a political debate. What a joke.
What a sad, sad state of leadership or lack there of from this White House.
” Golfing? Drunk? Stoned? “
D) All of the above
This obviously made Obama look like a coward, and using a woman for a scapegoat .
This would have escalated his loss of woman voters.
Problem is Hillary already took the blame 5 weeks after nobody took responsibility.
Him fighting Hillary for responsibility this late isn’t a win for Obama .
Obama is the idiot here. Hillary just checkmated him.
It makes him look like he thought she’d go under the bus
and he’d be ok. She and Slick have thought this through
and I’ll bet she resigns before the election. That will
make her look like she’s got some principles.
2016 rolls around, fresh coat of lipstick, botox, face
lift and she’s ready to go!

Would a question for tonite be why he took responsibility only 24 hours after Hillary, and who really is personally responsible for the attack? As a followup, does this show a weakness in leadership?
He finally takes responsibility? It has been how long after the event?
This guy is pathetic.
Ditt-O-bama
More like the anus sending signals to the brain via the rectal-tectal pathway. (Also responsible for crappy outlook on life.)
She may be on a "get even" binge...and he can't do a damn thing UNLESS he forces her to resign...
She's got him by the gonads.
Hmmm....nothing about lying about the reason for the attack (the you tube movie)?
Note this from the campaign, Not Zero himself nor the White House. He can use it do dodge tonight then disavow it tomorrow
Oh yeah, well I take responsibility for the assasination of John F. kennedy, and now I’m going to order some pizza.
She never took the blame: she blamed it on “security professionals.” Romney better not let Obama get away with that.
Once again, Odungo shows up late, a month later the POS admits he runs a playground.
