The moderators of the 2012 presidential and vice presidential debates have been under considerable scrutiny, perhaps more than in any other election cycle. Now, according to Time magazine, the campaigns of both GOP challenger Mitt Romney and President Barack Obama have expressed concern over how CNN's Candy Crowley, the moderator of Tuesday's town hall debate in Hempstead, N.Y., is approaching her role.
In an interview on the news network on Oct. 5, Crowley said she would not be afraid to ask follow-up questions if necessary.
"Once the table is kind of set by the town hall questioner, there is then time for me to say, 'Hey, wait a second, what about X, Y, Z?'" Crowley said.

When will these idiot sticks figure it out. It is war. Either muscle up and fight it or get out of the way and let the Tea Party save the country.
Romney is worried that she may be biased in favor of Obama.
Obama is worried that she may eat him.
Has the DOJ threatened her with a lawsuit yet?
Why the hell would the Obama campaign be worried about hungry hungry hippo Crowley..she is SO in the tank for Obama..this is the same woman who said that Romney choosing Ryan to be the VP is a “Death wish.” I wouldnt be surprised if Obama’s people hand picked the “Undecided voters” himself
The day before the debate’s a hell of a time to worry about the bias of the moderator. Where were they when this very woman said the choice of Paul Ryan was a death wish??
They picked the wrong Crowley. Monica Crowley should have been the moderator.

Monica Crowley(conservative) would have been hard on both of them..

I think the GOPe misunderstood the old expression and thinks it is “politics IS beanbag.”
I think the only reason this is being discussed in the media now is because the Obama campaign realized it could be a potential pitfall for Obama as well.
They could care less if Romney is concerned about Crowley or her potential intervention.
How could having a shill for the Obama campaign as moderator be a pitfall for the Obama campaign?
If I were a questioner at this debate, I would tell Ms. crowley, with all due respect, we would like to hear from the candidates and not you.
Is she related to Obama appointed person at the state department PJ Crowley? If so how can this be partisan .
