(CNSNews.com) - Sen. Lindsey Graham (R.-S.C.), a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, said on CBS's "Face the Nation" on Sunday that the U.S. intelligence community in Libya informed the administration in Washington, D.C., within 24 hours of the Sept. 11, 2012 attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya that the attack had been a terrorist strike whose perpetrators included militia associated with al Qaeda.
Graham said the fact that the administration was still publicly declaring more than five days later that the attack may have arisen as a spontaneous protest indicated that either "they are misleading or incredibly incompetent."
"Well, the facts are there was never a riot," Graham told Bob Schieffer of CBS News. "The night in question, September 11, Ambassador [Chris] Stevens was being visited by the Turkish ambassador. There wasn't a soul around the compound. And the coordinated attack lasted for hours with al Qaeda-associated militia.

Obama was still blaming the Youtube video when he addressed the UN. That was on September 25, IIRC. So, Obama was still putting forth the big lie 14 days after the attack.
I hope Romney will pound this home with a 20 pound sledghammer, again and again. People who don’t follow politics like we do need to hear the message that Obama’s incompetence led to the death of a US Ambassador and other Americans and that he lied and covered it up.
Bengazi-gate is the term I’d use. And the more Romney blames it on Obama, the more Obama will try to blame it on Hillary - and that is when popcorn futures will go thru the roof my friends!

Common thread? Of course there is. Like our press is protecting Obama, Obama is doing all he can to convince people that these Muslims are OK, they will not harm you.
Arab Spring: Peaceful Arabs wanting democracy. How is that working out?
Egypt: Muslim Brotherhood is firmly in control.
Libya: Al Qaeda is there but not yet in control.
Iraq: against the advice of US commanders, Obama pulled out the troops. Terrorist attacks are up, way up.
WHY are things going so badly?
If you are like most Americans, it has to be bad luck. Obama is trying, he's just in over his head. The truth is much simpler. It's obvious but most Americans don't believe anything that is obvious. The MSM and the government have to tell them it is OK to think these thoughts.
After all, there is no proof that our first Muslim POTUS is a traitor, doing everything he can to further Muslim fanatics in their goal of destroying Israel and controlling the world. As you roll your eyes back, remember, know your enemy or he will own you. Obama and the Muslim Brotherhood own you but Americans are fools who can't see the obvious. Crunch time is coming much sooner than you think.

This was a botched attempt by the Obama administration to find out where the missing man portable anti-aircraft missiles are. Al-Qaeda came in to shut down the search. They weren’t after an Ambassador and they weren’t trying to aimlessly kill Americans. Obama and Clinton have their behinds hanging out because they were “played” for suckers by al-Qaeda. Obama thought he was helping freedom fighters and him and Hillary wound up opening the Libyan armories to al-Qaeda who went in and picked up the missiles. Our intelligence capability in Libya is severely degraded. We have missing missiles. This isn’t a case where poor judgement by Hillary meant there wasn’t enough security. They got their asses handed to them by al-Qaeda and they covered up. So, they lost a bunch of missiles, al-Qaeda kicked them in the crotch in their effort to find the missiles, and my guess is we are being blackmailed, or soon will be blackmailed, to buy back those missiles. And you don’t even want to think about al-Qaeda using those missiles. This is deadly incompetence based on Democrat doctrine. It is the end of the Democrat party.
Well that was the problem then! They should have phoned it in to Vegas!
