Because everyone had such a great time at the last shoot we are anxious for the next one.
The date for the 8th Annual TCMS shoot will be June 8th, 2013 and will be held at Dietz Gun Shop and Shooting Range, in New Braunfels, TX. Providing we get the OK from Mr. Dietz – I will call him this week to discuss our coming to the range.
Staying in the Pelican Bay cottages this year was a stroke of genius, so we will again be staying in cottages. The cottage pick for this shoot is the Cypress Creek Cottages, in Wimberley, TX. There are only twelve cottages at this place, and as of this writing 7 of them have been reserved. NOTE: They require full payment at the time the reservations are made. Wimberley also has some very nice hotels in the area in the event all the cottages get rented.
Making it a three & a half day weekend will be the plans for many of us, that way we can enjoy the area and have lots of porch time.
The Friday night dinner & Saturday breakfast places have not yet been decided. There is still plenty of time to figure out those details. Saturday after the shoot lunch will be provided by our own chef ~ cpdiii (Thanks Charlie!). Suggestions for the Saturday night meal are more than welcome.

I haven’t looked to closely at that organization, but I’ve liked their
page on Facebook so they show up in my news feed. Been meaning to
give them a closer bit of scrutiny. Sounds like something I’d like to help with.

Yeah!! That is the ticket!!
Although..up near Wimberly..there is this blue hole up near the mouth of the Guadalupe (not sure how far away from where we are staying though...will look it up)...anyway...not many people know about it and it is awesome! Also has some rocky shallow rapids and a great shallow stream to creek walk in...maybe we can check it out too if it is not too far.
I will try to find it on a map later and post the location.
Waters gonna be cold,The air aint to hot either, but I would take an extra day of to float around.

I like that song!! Looked up the place I was thinking of and it is too far away. It is up close to Kerrvillle. The Blanco has a blue hole though and some nice floating spots. I bet the water will be cold. My swimming pool is still too cold to swim in too.

Our lunch time meal will be sponsored by the wonderful cpdiii. The only reason to quit shooting after lunch is that you had an adult beverage or two. (Duh reminder - we never shoot after partaking in adult beverages).

So do I, but circumstances do not allow. In solidarity I’ll go to the local range, shoot some stuff and have a nip of strong drink later.
