I think that’s part of the whole ruse that they trid to sell. It’s the Straw Man case that Clinton is so good at. Fabricate an issue, then further it thru outrage, apology (in this case), to give it legs.

Although we know what a flimsy excuse it is, partly in light of his oath of office to defend our Constitutional free speech rights, I believe it was Barry's seminal thought about making this claim of the video causing the multi-diplomatic outpost uprisings. All that nonsense before the UN was cover for an anticipated attack--indeed, a forewarned attack. Indeed, an attack Barry planned and fostered.. As a muslim, he believes the protests against the video would be justified, despite the taqqiyah he may have seemingly espoused to the contrary.

Back in the first half of the year, whenever the first administration dupe noticed the video trailer, probably before it had undergone dubbing, I believe an administration wonk in the loop made the connectIon to the Feb17th Italian attack in Libya. With the right dialog, the trailer could become a 21st century "Molotov Cocktail". Pavlov's dog, the February 17th Martyr's Brigade (herein after "F17MB"), could be made to drool. Shortly after 9/11/12, some actors that played in that video attested that it had been dubbed and the original dialog should not have been remotely incendiary. Those actors now have seemingly been disappeared and Nakula is in jail, just like Jim MacDougal was.

Violent reactions to unflattering depictions of "the Prophet of Islam", as Barry called the child molester before the UN, are the highest call of the F17MB, with whom the US chose to work for its Libyan local security, entrusted with protection of the Benghazi Consular assets, human, intel, and monetary.

I believe the Egyptian Embassy statement of 9/11/12 was instigated by Barry himself and was intended to inflame our many diplomatic outposts that--golly gee, like synchronized AQ clockwork--we're in fact the sites manifesting protesters gone wild. An effort had been made to advertise the video through the internet and a talk-showmullah, who got play via Al Jezeera.

The purposely nearly-defenseless ambassadorial outpost (particularly when the F17MB is seen for their legacy, and that the DoS was sitting on $2b that easily could've paid for robust security in a dangerous Benghazi) with the complicity or, at minimum, knowledge of the local police to stay away and keep other Benghazians at a safe distance, was absolutely made ripe for an attack. The F17MB absented any protester group, probably for their own safety and so as not to muck up the planned attack. They knew the buildings, their purpose, vulnerabilities and who would be where. Such was also true for the annex two clicks away.

F17MB had already earned their legacy when Stevens was appointed ambassador in April.

With the serious armaments Barry provided through the Saudis to overthrow Qadaffy still largely unused (call it "overkill", especially as we see the future unfold) even Barry knew those weapons need(ed) to be gotten back before they filter back through Mexico and start taking down American passenger aircraft, which will surely happen.

Democrat elites dare not allow themselves to be fingered for this coming debacle, lest the party become histoire. We don't know whether Stevens was going to buy back such weapons or play the pawn in a hostage situation for the blind sheik, but apparently, the ubiquitous Libyan street thugs thwarted Barry's better plans, or perhaps stole the money meant to be exchanged for the arms, which the Libyans were probably always loath to give up.

It might've been a nice foreign policy/negotiating feather if Barry had exchanged a kidnapped Stevens for a dying, blind sheik and secretly gotten Stinger-like missiles out of Libyan hands, perhaps all of which, in addition to some amount of unknown quantity of money, were necessary to extricate the Soetero Administration's breast from the wringer and allow the democrat party/Left to continue the transition to full-on Communism.

In doing this, Barry may have incompetently bet his party's survival. If unsuccessful, Hillary may just have to unleash the dogs onto Barry personally, in a bid to have the remainder of a party to let her organize her control.

every time I do a google search the numbers of Libyan assets owed keeps shrinking as they cook the book, IIRC it started out around 700 billion now it is down to about 200 billions

the speculation is over Stevens being liasion and arbitrating on behalf of the Libyans to try and get some of the funds to Libya

Exactly! You hit the nail on the head. Our men were sent there not to provide security, but to try to retrieve the missiles, among other weapons, that Hillary gave to the rebels. The deal went bad and the rebels attacked.

Or, the SEAL team that was there to recover weapons HAD recovered a large number of weapons, and had stored the weapons in the consulate building. Then al-Queda attacked the building to seize the arms cache.

They had forces and arms pre-positioned to attack. They may or may not have known that the ambassador was coming.
