The Talk Shows
October 14th, 2012
Guests to be interviewed today on major television talk shows:
FOX NEWS SUNDAY (Fox Network): David Axelrod, adviser to the Obama campaign; Ed Gillespie, adviser to Mitt Romney's campaign.
MEET THE PRESS (NBC): Gov. Bob McDonnell, R-Va.; Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed; former Gov. Jennifer Granholm, D-Mich.
FACE THE NATION (CBS): Reps. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., and Elijah Cummings, D-Md.; Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C.
THIS WEEK (ABC): Sen. Rob Portman, R-Ohio; Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden; former House Speaker Newt Gingrich.
STATE OF THE UNION (CNN): Robert Gibbs, adviser to President Barack Obama's re-election campaign; Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Fla., and Al Cardenas, former Florida Republican Party chairman.
Also they are starting to see the most damning piece of evidence...Zero’s speech to the UN 14 DAYS LATER, in which he was stll blaming the video for the attack.
Wow, they double teamed Woodward and the media as to why the kit gloves other than trying to coast to the election and bury it.
HA!
Wallace almost speechless as Brit Hume asked him (paraphrase) “When you are choosing guests for this show and you want to get the facts, where do you go to get them?”
Wallace (deer in the headlights pausing) “Uh...to the White House....I don’t like answering the questions.”
Brit: “All right then”
(essentially)
LOL!
Granholm closes MTP with “who do you trust”,that’s the question the American people will be asking. Says the woman who single- handedly destroyed Detroit and then went on to try and destroy the rest of Michigan. Just a laugh-a-thon.
Amazing how a little wooden figure with a very long nose can take out an entire Chicago regime....
Laura hit it out of the park. She finally said what everyone knows about the three pillars and she spoke directly to it. Where are the people camped out like you did when you were trying to destroy Bush?
Looks like Hillary is worried that the regime may bus her over after they lose the elections when they have little to lose.
we have not seen the end of this story and how the Admin comes up with some new trick.
“The citizen media is the weapon of freedom taking the place of the Dinosaur Press reporting the truth without a filter”
Excellent observation.
former ambassador Bolton talking about "real time" watching the slaughter at the embassy. That's where the real jeopardy is,real time.
This Sunday Panel on Fox was YouTube worthy.
I think R&R is leaving it up to the talk show hosts to take up that slack. Chrissy Wallace not included.
WTF happened to WVA?
This from the woman who said we in Michigan would be “blown away” when she was running for reelection. Well she was right...we do now resemble Oklahoma of the 1930’s.........
Brit Hume SPANKED Cris Wallace and forced him to admit that the White House sent Rice out there to spew that bull$hit.
Brit's reason was to expose Obama’s lying and to jab Wallace for not slapping Axelrot for his lies. Obama and Biden had to know the truth before they started the cover-up. They sent Rice out there!
You know, oncit upon a time I was a bit skeptical of all these claims about the media bias etc.
Oh I knew there was a difference in coverage for lib causes and conservative but I always attributed it to access to sources and what is big news for the media.
The notion that a bunch of people live in some sort of glass dome inside the beltway, totally unaware of the world beyond, seemed a bit far-fetched to me.
So okay, such as me and others have had all the scales fall from their eyes. In fact, as an aside if you will indulge, I understand that the entertainment sorts were all on the side of the Nazis during that era.
It’s the thing about being “cool” and “in” and mostly no sort of ordinary life. It’s the way these people are and it’s time we all accept this.
BUT....this situation has essentially caused our country so many problems. Failure to vet Obama is one big failure though those stupid mutts don’t know it. So their allegiance to all things liberal, cool and neato is a liability and we’ve GOT to get around them.
For example, when do we all shake our heads and agree that A LIE IS A LIE?
If ever Libya was a lie it’s now and what’s going to happen with this? There’s hearings, for sure, but only in the House of Reps....NOT the Senate. The media should be going on and on about this, beating the drums.
But they’re not.....except lightly one could argue. Like Laura Ingraham said, they were parked outside of Scooter Libby’s house, why aren’t they besieging Susan Rice?
We’ve got to have a way to ignore these people and we’ve got to do it en masse.
They have failed this country but they broke no laws, they just did what they do for their own self-importance.
Not having an opposition party has hurt, for sure.
We need to stop complaining about the media and come up with a way to go around them, to condemn them when needed.
We need to un-elect those Repubs who are snug and secure in their happening positions and put new ones on our side in their place.
Bi**ng about the media does nothing to change them. They don’t care what we think, we are the morons.
First we get in power than we get rid of the Rino
The big question is who screens the questions and decides on whom to call upon to ask them. The reality is that this format is a Potempkin village, i.e., a mere facade or theatrical device to create the impression that this group of so-called undecideds represents the American people.
How the Fluke does Axelrod
a. have access to exit polls for early voting?
2. is allowed to quote those exit polls on national TV?
iii. where the Fluke is law enforcement enforcing those rules?!!!
So to me the average GOP politician is a reflection of the “average GOP voter” plus “average independent voter” which moves the center-of-mass of the average GOP politician even more to the left. The only good news as such is it still makes on average a center-right country where the mean of that distribution is sometimes more “center” and sometimes more “right”.
I would like to see the country and the GOP politicians more reflective of the “average” here on FR but we have a ways to go before that happens. A real educational challenge.
