Politico is reporting that the Obama campaign is going to go back to the issue of Mitt Romney's tax returns. They have unveiled a new 30-second ad on Mitt's taxes to run in several swing states.
Um, Obama campaign, you did this once before....

Has anyone ever publicly asked Axlerod about his Communist background?
Been there..done that...It was launched in Benghazi on the 11th...
There were supposed to be hostages taken from the consulate....,
To be released for the Blind Sheik ...Obama gets a boost.
But locals got overexcited and killed them all.
And the rest is history.
There is still time for an October Surprise. It’s all in the timing, and it could be a November 1 surprise, too!
“I’m sure they’ve got something in mind.”
There is always a last minute story that the media pushes about 3 days - 2 weeks before the election.
* Bush drunk driving
* Al Qaa Qaa
* Dan Rather’s falsified TANG letter
They time it so they think there’s not enough time to for the public to process past the bump the dem gets from a supposedly big story.
Most people don’t remember. But the 2000 election would not have been close but for the drunk driving story three days before the election. The numbers moved 5 points during those three days against Bush.
Al Qaa Qaa fizzled and the Dan Rather TANG story, well, we know what Buckhead did to that.
But they have something cooking for the last minute. So it is important that we drive the Benghazi scandal hard. Benghazi has all the earmarks of a major scandal that will rock Zero’s numbers hard. It is only beginning to take hold with the public. The next two weeks will tell whether the Old Media can spike it and move on.
Benghazi may force them to move the timetable of the big story that is coming up somewhat. That would give them an excuse not to talk about Benghazi but to focus on this huge new breaking story.
Clarity about Benghazi is our friend. It is clear that HRC and Zero failed to protect our diplomats for P.C. reasons—don’t want to offend Muslims by having actual Americans with guns and even worse, bullets, at the embassy. And it is clear they have lied to cover their dereliction of duty. Obfuscation and confusion is the Old Media’s friend.
Be Clear.
My guess is they’ll try something domestic, if anything.
They’ve damaged their credibility on the foreign stuff.
Negotiating with terrorists, trading with terrorists. Hard to see Obama parlaying that into a boost-worthy victory.
I think the setup was, sending in another SEAL team, eliminating the terrorist hostage-takers and bringing our people home safely.
Of course they’ve been out of their minds forever...
“Out of ideas’’? They never had any.
There isn't going to be any created crises, Obama would only look more foolish.
If obama gets desparate enough, I just dread what terrible thing will happen next. I hope no one is killed just so this a -hole can get reelected.
More like scams
This is Just a Distraction,The Fixed Unemployment Numbers,GM BS,all the Obamacare Benefits people now love will be Trashed By a President Romney especially the WOMEN! That is where Obama will attack.Take it to the Bank
I agree. Everything they touch turns from gold to crap. The anti-Midas touch. I think the Benghazi setup was planned somehow, and see how well that worked? Employment numbers? Figured that out in what? One day? Ya, they're out of bullets and anything else they try to pull will be viewed as pale desperation. It will only hurt themselves.
If he does something crazy where people die— I don’t think that helps him. The fact that he didn’t attend regular security briefings will keep the country from rallying around him. Look for Romney to hit him with this. No security briefings, no regular cabinet meetings, no meetings with his jobs panel. He’s been campaigning and giving speeches since 2008.
I’m stealing that one :).
This may be the next step in a late-Oct, contrived Tax-Return-Gate. Contriving a bad perception can swing a couple %’s in Ohio. Not sayin, just sayin.
