I would not be that sure...he still has four weeks to say more stupid stuff and convince folks that he’s an idiot.

Good news if true, but it’s an 11 day old poll. We can assume that Ain has surged even further in the past 11 days, but it’s just as likely that it’s gone the other direction. McCaskill’s slimy ads are running 24/7 in Missouri.

when Atkins wins he should run for Senate majority leader ... It's time to get rid of Mitch McConnel anyway

Someone needs to ask McCaskill why she vetted McCain but not hussein. She’s one who wants to do away with NBC for presidential requirements.

There is no 8.8% undecided. Maybe 2 or 3% but not 8.8%....the rest have decided they just refuse to tell a pollster they are voting for Akin.

He will more than likely win.

You’re right- and when he does win, we’ll have our very own Joe Biden...

with 8.8 percent of voters undecided

At this stage, "undecided" = "unwilling to tell a stranger you're voting for Akin".

I do hope that Akin wins this race, but that’s my emotional side. My rational side says that he won’t. This poll doesn’t agree with other polls that show this is still a +6 McCaskill advantage. The best news in the poll is the large undecided. I think that’s Akin’s only hope.

McCaskil is saturating the KC media markets with disgusting adds that are hurting Akin among the wishy washy independents and “moderates”. He will get the conservative vote including my children, but I don’t think that it will be enough.

if the adage “all politics is local” is really true and particularly true this year in Missouri, Akin CAN surely still win
