NBC's Tom Brokaw blasted Joe Biden's debate antics on Friday's Morning Joe. "I mean he just can't contain himself," note Brokaw. "And he's become a caricature on the talk shows."
"I just don't think you should be laughing during a discussion about thermonuclear war with Iran," Brokaw called out Biden, who repeatedly shook his head at opponent Paul Ryan while smiling and laughing.

As I said this morning, I don't think either guy won the debate, but I think Biden lost it. Nobody will remember much of what either guy said, (with the exception of Biden's lie about the consulate in Libya never asking for more security, that story still in unfolding) but everybody will remember Biden's behavior. Liberals will lover it, conservatives despise it, but it really just matters what the so called 'undecided' thought about crazy joe.
My intuition, after seeing the tv ratings, is that the undecided voter either did not tune in at all, or if they did, they were probably so turned off that they changed channels after the first 30 minutes of Joe's act.
By making the storyline about Joe and how he acted, if the Obama campaign thought that was a brilliant strategy, they are completely mistaken. Joe's behavior stepped on his arguments, and even if the undecided were inclined to believe the crap Joe was selling, his buffoonish behavior probably made most people not even remember what he was saying.
Being so over the top in Ryan's face was a big mistake, and the lie he told about Benghazi will come back to haunt Joe and Barry. When even a reliable liberal like Tom Brokaw is not willing to cover for his clownish act, you know crazy Joe went too far.
The words “senile” and “dementia” come to mind when I watch the sick old buzzard giggling and squinting about serious topics.
If Barry has lost Brokaw, then he has lost the old, white liberals too.
The old fool couldn't be serious long enough to rationally discuss the nuclear equipped mullahs? We need better in this country. This is a serious subject.
Obama out-Carters Carter and now Biden out-Gores AlGore.
Frankly, there’s only so much you can do when the other guy goes ‘wing nut’ on you. Ryan could have come up with some better rejoinders, but he held his composure throughout, and I think that spoke very well of him.
Biden played the fool, and the media stepped in to praise him for it. He’s being described as “spirited.” “The sparks really flew...”
No, horse manure was the only thing that flew, and it was slung from one direction only. Biden isn’t slick enough to pull it off, and the media isn’t effective enough to turn a horse turd into a red apple. It’s not working.
Weekly Standards Mark Hemingway: Joe Bidens laughing through talking about Iran sanctions?
Washington Examiners Philip Klein: Bidens strategy seems to be to laugh at Ryan constantly. Will it work to infantalize Ryan, or backfire like Gore sighing?
NBCs David Gregory: Bidens smile is out of control.
BuzzFeeds Ben Smith: So did Biden practice laughing at Ryan???
ABCs Rick Klein: Biden on verge of breaking down in laughter when Ryan talks.
Former Eric Cantor staffer Brad Dayspring: Joe Biden needs to realize this isnt a Senate Foreign Relations Hearing. His laughter and condescending attitude is a disaster.
Radio host Neal Boortz: Looking like Bidens gameplan is to laugh his way through this.
Townhall.coms Guy Benson: Will Biden laugh his ass off at the terrible economy, too?
MSNBCs S.E. Cupp: Biden needs to laugh a little less through the Libya, Middle East, nuclear Iran segment.
Washington Posts Chris Cillizza: Ok. I have decided. I find the Biden smile slightly unsettling.
PBS Jeff Greenfield: Biden has always had a smile that at times is really, really inappropriate.
Washington Examiners Paul Bedard: Cant tell yet if Bidens smirking, laughs, eye-rolling, head shaking, works for him or not against the oh-so-young looking eager Ryan.
Former White House press secretary Ari Fleischer: Biden is at risk of having his laugh come across like Gores sighs. He should knock it off.
The New York Times Ashley Parker: Bidens grin is Chesire Cat caliber.
Republican strategist Ron Bonjean: Biden laughing does not come off with the intended effect. It is actually hurting him. Looks very condescending.
Movie critic Roger Ebert: Joe! Stop smiling and laughing!
Washington Times Emily Miller: Biden laughing when he disagrees with Ryan is so annoying. Like a child in time out.
Washington Posts Jennifer Rubin: Bidens laughing is losing the debate- obnoxious

Ryan came to a debate. Biden thought it was a circus act. After all, it’s a jungle at the White House. There’s a baboon and a laughing hyena there leading all the other jackasses.
Excellent news if Brokaw says this.
Plus, all those interruptions, all by Biden and the “moderator.” Except for the liberal freaks, no one in their right mind would put up with that.
Sure, an occasional interruption, if the other guy comes out with a bald-faced lie. But one-sided interruptions more than once a minute all through the debate, with no justification.
And I doubt whether the neutral viewers would approve of the moderator ganging up with one of the debaters to do it.
If the high altitude got to Obama in the Denver debate, I’m wondering if they piped in laughing gas on ol’ Joe.
Biden got what he was after..the news was about him and not the issues..
Brokaw, and the rest of the Liberal Media, won't cover for the Liberal Messiah and His minions anymore. The LM know that come January 20 we will have President Romney and VP Ryan, so they are planning accordingly.
Ryan was staying on message...which would you choose..the smart man or the idiot?
I had a couple of graphics in cold storage that I used to pull out in honor of Crazy Uncle Ron Paul. I thought I might not ever use them again. Crazy Uncle Joe has brought them out of retirement.
If you can dream - and not make dreams your master;
If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with triumph and disaster
And treat those two imposters just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with wornout tools;
If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breath a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: "Hold on";
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with kings - nor lose the common touch;
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you;
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run -
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man my son!
- Kipling
It's only 28 words, but it's in 4 sentences. He only had 2 weeks, so that's as far as he got.
Bwokaw is stiww awive?
I like that poem.
It describes the complete opposite of the people inhabiting the current Administration.
