Vice President Biden doubled down on the bad intelligence excuse in last night's debate when the question of the deaths of American personnel in Libya was raised. Among other stories today, Senator Bob Corker and The Daily Beast's Eli Lake apparently seem to know at lot more about what happened in Benghazi that night than the President and Vice President.
Senator Corker will become the senior Republican on the Senate Intelligence Committee next year. The Washington Post's Jennifer Rubin reports: This week he had extensive meetings with the FBI and intelligence officials on the ground in Benghazi as well as officials from the Libyan government. He was emphatic: "What I know is our intelligence officials on the ground in real time and also in Washington within 24 hours knew what had happened." How much was known at the time of the attack? Eli Lake reports: In addition to the footage from the consulate cameras, the U.S. government is also poring over video taken from an overhead U.S. surveillance drone that arrived for the final hour of the night battle at the consulate compound and nearby annex. One doesn't have to be a world class analyst to make the distinction between the random acts of a mob and a coordinated attack. And if a drone was sent in when it became known the consulate was under attack, why wasn't it an armed drone that could have tried to stop the assault?
I expect more damaging information to come out in coming days.

There is something else that the Committee and Mr. Chaffetz know, but are not allowed to tell us... IT IS THE METHOD OF AMBASSADOR STEVENS' DEATH. Rep. Gowdy became very emotional when he referred to "four brave Americans who died under circumstances that we can scarcely imagine." Gowdy is not referring to smoke inhalation here - it is clearly more terrible than that. It is apparent that the four Americans were raped and sodomized; after all, it is the Muslim way.

I have seen a video that shows that this was a false flag operation all along. False flag ops are supposed to be CIA operations, correct? If this is a false flag op, I wonder what the outcome was supposed to be?
You have some good points. They might not be connected the right way or it may be exactly what happened.
Here is what I think:
This is a CIA FUBAR.
It involves those missing weapons.
It involves the Blind Sheik.
Perhaps to prevent a terrorist attack with the missing weapons -they made a deal with the devil they armed.
It went awry.
Their cover story blew up. Maybe because it is an election year. I don’t know.
In the past, the CIA involved Hollywood- The White Crooner and his brother -to make a porn tape in their efforts to overthrow a dictator.
It’s possible they were behind the infamous current tape.
I agree. Those two people in Congress know exactly what happened to Stevens. You can tell it by Gowdy’s speech -especially in the anarchy part of it.
You can tell it on Chaffetz face.
The only hope that we have of learning something of the truth is that our regime is about to change and there are missing weapons that can be used against us. This is a CIA FUBAR.
We rarely uncover a semblance of the truth when those happen.
Who pays the detainee lawyers?
The problem is that this administration's ability to deliver rewards for playing ball is severely compromised if Barry does not win in November.
It then logically follows that as Barry's probability of winning drops, the potential rewards of turning "leaker" increase.
It wasn’t an intelligence failure, it wasn’t a communications failure, and it wasn’t a failure in the chain of command. It was a decision making failure before, during and after the attack in Benghazi.
