Gosh, just like about 50 posters here on FR........

I have to say, people that say the two are the same are simply morons with no brain cells left.

Did I just describe a Paul bot?

:-)

His endorsement wouldn’t matter one way or the other, imo. I know that Paul has follows across the nation but I’m not sure that they would be enough to swing the election in any state. JMO.

How can there possibly be anyone left on this board who supports Ron Paul?

That’s what happens when people stop thinking with their heads and start letting their wish list become their reality.
We can only hope the little roach gets stepped on in the near future. Rand needs to learn from this. He is not bigger than his supporters and he is relevant only so long as his message is coherent.

“No essential difference.” Is he referring to the fact that both are against legalizing drugs—although for different reasons?

The statement about no difference on the Fed is ridiculous. Romney is too establishment for me, but he’s not anything like Obama - and he’s already said he is done with Bernanke and EZ money.

Paul just lies out his you know what to make his counter intuitive selfish place in history somehow justified.

And if Paul was President, he wouldn’t change it either, unless he had 60% of the Senate, a majority in the House, and 5 SCOTUS judges.

We’ve been 100 years getting into this mess, we will either turn a corner and head back or derail. I’m betting on the derail scenario now.

I don’t want a Marxist in charge when that happens, and as week as the Bush’s were on conservatism, their SCOTUS picks are a hell of a lot better than Clinton’s and Bummer’s.

It's the truth; MR is just a full-white version of the kenyan.

The Kenyan must go.

I’m fed up with self-important politicians such as Ron Paul that crave the adulation of followers who believe they have some revealed truth to impart when all they have is ambition. For Ron Paul to refuse to endorse the only man who can defeat the dangerous Barack Obama and call them ‘the same’ is delusional. Ron Paul is 77 years old, retiring from congress with his fat government pension (congress takes good care of it’s members) and obviously doesn’t give a hoot what happens to his country. Screw him.

FU, Ron Paul. You’re a worthless, delusional POS.

I’ve known drunks in sleazy bars who make more sense than you.

“Ron Paul, the maverick Texas congressman....”

.
Don’t we all remember another maverick sweetheart of the MSM that screwed up things royally?

Or was it perhaps done, intentionally?

While Romney is not a dream candidate by any means to say they essentially are not any different is over the top.

First and foremost, I do believe Mitt likes America. I also believe Mitt IS an American at heart, and in birth. He is a far, far more generous person than Obama, and does not appear to be generous just in order to flaunt it. I do not believe Mitt would tell Putin to “wait until I’m elected and I can be more flexible” like Obama’s second term will be.

He is obviously not as conservative as me. He is not even my faith, as his faith actually holds MY faith to be in error. I take issue with him on many things. But as much as I will not give him or anyone else extra slack just for being a “R”, I also will not call him something he clearly is not. He is not essentially the same as Obama. The country and policies and proposals and potential SCOTUS justice nominees will not be identical/equivalent to Obama’s.

Again, this election is choosing between Xerxes and Mohammed. You can reason and work with, and live under, a Xerxes. You cannot with a Mohammed.
