Vice President Joe Biden's repeated laughter during Thursday's debate was a reflection of the "enormous amount of passion and joy" he brings to the job of serving the American people, White House press secretary Jay Carney said on Friday.
Biden has drawn criticism for cracking up when Paul Ryan was talking about everything from Medicare to tax cuts to Iran's quest for a nuclear weapon.
"The person I saw up there last night is somebody who is absolutely passionate about fighting for and defending the middle class... and who comes to his job -- this many years in to serving his country in the Senate and now to the White House -- with an enormous amount of passion and joy," Carney said.

I counted 3 or 3 and a half for McC :) Maybe your eyes are better than mine.
Then he describes the group as leaning to Obama, but still undecided.
That'a what they claimed they were. Who knows. Tomorrow night should be interesting, for the same reason.
He he
And under both Bush's too.
Maybe we know how the leftists feel when Obama didn't close gitmo after all, buddied up with Wall Street, etc.
But hey, maybe it will be worth it when they draw up a balanced budget amendment :)
More than interesting.
Obama knows he must go in and do serious damage because another disaster like that first debate and it may be Hillary vs Romney 2016. He must attack but not look flustered or crazy like Biden did.
Obama’s strategy up till now is to paint MR as a super rich detached elitist who is a slave of the radical right wing. Now he must convince voters that the moderate sounding Romney is Trojan Horse who is hiding his true radical positions (we could only dream.).
This should be really good. I must admit again, Romney knows how to debate, lots of practice. Obama knows he must go on the attack. WWFW main event.
Yep, when Lindsey Grahamnesty draws up that Amendment to stop birthright citizenship for illegals, as he suggested on all the Sunday shows. He is such an AH.
Oh great. Sorry to hear it.
Can you imagine McCain voters saying they’d consider voting for Obama? I honestly can’t. So what we’re looking at there are 26 people who are leaning Obama. And so they say they don’t think there were any real winners. Nope, no minds were changed. Actually, I believe that. I think Luntz was gamed big time.
I agree that Rush can get giddy and make wild projections. Hey, I’ve probably been guilty myself. Right now I’m leaning to Romney by about 55/45.
The Luntz focus group doesn’t add up to me.
Yes, I’m expecting a lot of loaded questions for Ryan, and a few questions about what Biden’s favorite flavor of Ice Cream is.
Yes, looking forward to it... ;^)
Romney wants to win on “I am not Obama, that is all you need to know. We will work with congress to come up with the details later”
So Obama’s mission has to be to destroy Romney, to convince voters/viewers that MR is extreme, that he is phony, he is a puppet of the Tea party fanatics, he is lying about everything except things you dont want him to do that he said he will do.
Romney needs to blow off his attacks with good sounding replies and stay on the offensive.
LOL!
” Obama will be more aggressive than he was in the last debate. “
But will he throw a “fag fit” ? That is the question!
” But I don’t think undecided voters are going to vote based on the VP debate. “
Evidently, some women were turned off by Biden.....or uh...turned on by Ryan : )
” The rabid/mentally unstable hard core liberals love the Illusory Superiority responses of Obama/Biden/Pelosi/Reed and others.
However, the instant and nationwide exposed insanity of their Illusory Superiority responses is killing them with the independent voters.”
Fortunately.
Hopefully, the independent voters with a functioning brain will become broken glass voters in November to fire the thugs in and incontrol of the outhouse in DC.
“...But will he throw a fag fit ? That is the question!...”
Count on it. He’ll be well-rehearsed in theatrics for this one, ala Axelrod.
But...I’m pretty sure people can see through his bullsh*t.
” Would I rather see him in there than Obama? Yes. That’s a somewhat hollow yes though. Neither of these guys is going to represent Conservatism well. We can only hope he surprises us in some ways. Even that will most likely be a vapor-trail in time...”
OK, here is where I am in this deal. I am in Arizona, so my vote counts. I did not vote for McCain, because he despises conservatives, and seems to have somewhat dedicated the balance of his miserable life to making us miserable. Similarly, I didn’t vote for W the second time, as I saw he was daddy’s little globalist, and pro amnesty. Obama and his minions are VERY DANGEROUS PEOPLE. No amount of deliberation, rationalization can get around this. It would be different if the Repubs in the House & Senate were fighting him tooth and nail, but there is nary a wimper from them. The only logical conclusion, is that Obama will do untold damage to our country, and around the world. He has to go. Romney tolerates conservatives, whereas McCain was out to destroy them. THAT is a difference.
Conclusion...Nobody will stop Obama, so he has to go.
As of now, the indication is that independents are moving towards Romney.
The few times Obama got very aggressive, he came off as ugly. I am hoping that somehow, Romney can get Obama to blow a head gasket.
I will settle for an effeminate “fag fit” tho !
: )
