Last week, WND reported the breathtaking story, based on impeccable Iranian sources, that Barack Obama sent an emissary to Qatar to meet with a representative of the ayatollah to offer a secret deal – one that would help Obama win his re-election bid.
It was a shocker – even by Obama standards.
The White House was offering Iran a deal to reduce international sanctions against the rogue, terrorist-supporting nation developing nuclear weapons if it simply agreed to suspend uranium enrichment for two weeks before the U.S. election – allowing Obama to announce a phony "diplomatic coup."
As the story pointed out, this could well be the "October Surprise" Obama planned to overcome his fading support among the American public.
It was quite a story, indeed. But it was not picked up by a single news agency in the country – therefore leaving open the possibility Obama can still pull it off.
To say the least, this kind of reporting is expensive and risky. How did the rest of the media respond? With another collective yawn.
In other words, the word is not getting out. Despite the precision and grainy detail offered by WND’s reports, the rest of the media simply ignored these startling revelations, as if they never happened.
Why would the media collectively ignore this news?
Could it be because they don’t want it to be true?
Could it be because they are in the tank for Obama and neither of these stories represents good news for his campaign?

After 4 years of BHO protecting and “enabling” the crazy anti-American mullahs in Iran (and his installing Muslim Bros and other terroristas in other countries of the Islamic Caliphate), nobody would believe he’s suddenly worked out such a “convenient” deal. Besides, nobody in their right mind would believe his pals in Iran would ever honor or keep their word on any deals they might someday make with The Great Satan.
Sorry, but such an “October surprise” as you suspect would not work for BHusseinO. It might have worked before we got to know what BHO was up to, yes. So yes, maybe that was the plan. Too late now, though. Too late now.
I think ENOUGH AMERICANS have awoken, to the extent that ANY sort of agreement Iran makes is about as worthless as the paper it’s written on. When Iran said their nuclear ambition is for energy purposes, they lost all credibility.
Which October surprise, the total BS 7.8% unemployment number or the Consumer Sentiment level suddenly rising to its highest in 4 years?
My point is that we need to update the term to “October Surprises.”
My prediction is that this will escalate to military conflict in the Middle East.
Yes, they are that desperate.
Here’s my prediction on the October Surprise.
A rumor will be floated involving sex. ‘Love child’, affair, gay affair, multiple wives, etc.
Something really salacious.
This will happen around Nov. 1.
I don’t think an agreement w/ Iran will give Zer0 the results he wants.
Whatever...it won't work.
All he needs is a rabbit to attack him when out golfing ....

Could be with the way Biden belabored how badly Iran is hurting from the sanctions - he made it sound like they were ready to come begging and maybe even bow lower than Zero at the meeting...
“The country used to come together in a crisis.”Last night I had a discussion with someone on the WSJ comment board that pointed out the real danger for Obama in Biden’s answer. I had missed it completely. This is the conversation that I had last night, or at least part of it.
James- I missed it the first time through. Biden let the cat out of the bag about why the Libyian situation was allowed to happen when he plaintively complains, “The country used to come together in a crisis.”. That statement finally gives a reason for why the situation was allowed to develop in Libya and why the Americans were allowed to be killed. Poor Joe seemed completely baffled about why they were not getting the desired outcome. And people are going to claim he got through the night gaffe free...not so.
Me - I had never considered the possibility that they actually thought that allowing the situation to “develop” would benefit them. It is just too despicable to even consider, but I’m afraid you’re right. That’s what Cutter meant when she said that none of this would be an issue if it wasn’t for Romney and Ryan, she meant that they would have gotten away with it and used it to their advantage.
I recall reading a description of the NSA meeting that Obama is supposed to have had on 9/11, where they discussed sending in a rapid response team, but said that the next day would be soon enough because it would take hours, 4, 6, even possibly 12 hours to have planes there. Someone on these WSJ boards, commented that it would only take military jets 20 minutes to get there from souther Italy, but Obama waited until the next day. Sharlene Lamb testified that she watched the whole thing on her computer in real time, and they waited until the next day. They let those people suffer a horrible death, they waited until the next day, all because the lives of those four Americans were not as valuable as their blame America first ideology and a political campaign.
Apparently, the days of October Surprises, like the days of claims of racism, are over.
Please do this, 0bama.

Our local evening news last night was all giddy over the fabulous job hussein has done with the 7.8%.
There is absolutely NOTHING that BHO could do or say — short of a gun to my head — that would ever induce me to vote for him. Nothing.
This helps confirm my contention that this was supposed to be an October surprise. I think Obama was waiting for captives, and demands to be issued. Then, right before the foreign policy debates, he’d wave his magic hand and get the hostages released, the situation calmed down, and he’d be the uber-hero of foreign policy.
But as someone pointed out about radical Islam:
Befriend
Betray
Behead.
Obama is so far beyond dangerously ignorant and naive, he thought this was a plan that would work out to his favor.
There was an earlier thread which speculated the Libyan situation was supposed to be a controlled event where Obama would emit his mystic and rescue all through superior negotiating charisma.
It’s amazing how in denial the government-media complex is regarding the level of gullibility of the people.
Most people know it’s BS, that’s why it didn’t help the equities markets more than a blip.
