I've been hearing the same carrot/stick routine for years now re 'new servers / bigger pipe / etc etc' and performance has only gotten slower over time.
Given the miserable latency for the past two debates, there's NO WAY IN HELL this site will cope with a Presidential election in 26 DAYS !
I love FR, but these ridiculous lag times just ain't kosher . . .
Sorry about the downtime tonight. Don’t know what happened there other than our system became overloaded. Still don’t know when John is planning on installing the new equipment, but hoping it is soon. This was very disappointing.

After a post at the beginning, I gave up. I played a game while I watched the debate since this is so frustrating. It will be worse on election day, so there’s no point in coming to a live thread.
I apologize for bouncing that FReepathon graphic off of your post. I usually post to #0 but got lazy while trying to follow the debate.
