During the 2007-2008 campaign season Obama proclaimed repeatedly that he would not hesitate to mount an armed incursion into Pakistan to get Bin Laden. It's possible a politically sympathetic official of the National Security Council passed top secret intelligence to Obama.
Given WND’s recent sensationalist failures, I’d take this one with a large grain of salt, until you could find some respectable independent confirmation.
