As a mother with a son who has served in Iraq, Afghanistan and is again in Afghanistan, I am truly outraged at your comment. Your statement about where this bereaved mother’s head may be is beyond belief. I would report this to the Moderator, except I want people to see just how warped extreme beliefs can carry some people. Shame on you!!!

As to who is responsible, I am at this moment listening to the live House hearings on this issue. I would like to know more about the statement that the Republican dominated House has significantly reduced funding for embassy security since 2010. I realize we need to reduce the deficit, but is this the cost?? More research needed.

You got the Dem talking point down. The most ridiculous thing I have ever heard.

I am sorry if I said anything disrespectful and for that I apologize. I applaud your son’s bravery for serving our great country. My point was that I want to know what happened to this woman’s son, and I would think she would want to know too, but it seems her allegiance is to Obama and not to finding out the truth, but I was wrong for saying what I said, and for that I apologize

I just read your history. You seem to have a soft spot for Obama.

“I would like to know more about the statement that the Republican dominated House has significantly reduced funding for embassy security since 2010.”

That is an easily provable dem lie. Period. The Repubs have not reduced any program or any spending. You can’t place blame on the republicans when Harry Ried has blocked every vote on an actual budget. If there is no budget passed, then the repubs cannot have possibly reduced spending on any thing.

Don’t let the dems use your emotional suffering to disconnect your ability to reason.

You should have just listened to the hearing. The Political hack who denied the extension of the US security team and additional personnel for Benghazee was NOT a funding decision. They had the personnel, the Obama underlings turned the request down by the “in the field” security officials.

Your concern is noted.

all agencies get their budgets cut in times like these

that's when they have establish priorities for the funding they do have

I'm thinking the US embassy in Tripoli and Consulate in Benghazi got enough money to afford a trustworthy security force armed with real weapons and real ammo, ROE permitting them to use them, and a true safe house with an attack proof bunker and an escape plan to get the US Ambassador out via a safe route

In fact, if the budget was that tight then the unguarded consulate on Benghazi, a real jihad haven, was no place for the Ambassador to be visiting, was it?

Funding is a red herring. What was lacking here was an awareness of the nature of the enemy and the will to protect the Ambassador from them. A disregard of intelligence that didn't fit their perfect world of free arabs cheering over Qaddafi's sodomized corpse. A State Department full of Hillary's anti military wonks who were more concerned about finding jobs for homosexuals and loathe to call in the Marines, too PC to have armed guards, and to admit some Libyan “freedom fighters” needed killing

The Disaster found 180 million to buy a prison in Illinois that Congress refuses to authorize so don’t expect me to believe that this is anything but administration incompetence. Rather than use that illegal money to bail out the corrupt Democrats of Illinois he could have used it for diplomatic security.

You won’t find lack of money at the root of this debacle but incompetence or worse.

Sorry, I’m with Sarah Barracuda on this one. This “mother” is an embarrassment to her son’s memory. The Libyan Ambassador had requested many times additional security for the embassy days before the assault. Obozo failed, and this woman’s support for Obozo’s failure which CAUSED her own son’s murder is reprehensible.
