By my count this is the fourth version of the excuse.Fifth. He told his Hollywood crowd that he can't be expected to 'perform' perfectly night after night.
He's a performer, not a leader. I'll give him that one.

Apparently Joyner and Obama didn’t get the memo to quit bringing last week’s utter failure up over and over.

"...Obama says he was just too polite and that voters should expect a little more activity next week in round two." Here comes the over-correction. This will probably be Barky's 'hold muh beer' moment. Get the Presidential Darwin Award ready .. LOL

They keep on coming Romney could have a lot of fun with a list like this. Imagine these Romney comments during the next debate:
- "I really want to thank Jim Leher for allowing President Obama and I those few extra moments to speak in the last debate. Jim was obviously not afraid to let us represent our side without interruption, and I appreciated that."
- "In my church, we practice memorizing our sacred scriptures. That practice taught me the useful public speaking skill of memorization and recall, without the use of external aids."
- "We live in a dangerous world, where countries threaten our lives and the lives of our allies on a daily basis. The United States must be determined to prevail, and I believe a president should demonstrate the ability to be stalwalt and resolute, and not get put "off his game" in the face of hostility and untruth."
- "I want to acknowledge and express my appreciation for President Obama's measured and civil tone in our last debate. It takes a remarkable man to meet an opponent in the road and not go on the attack."
- "This is the real me. There is no truth that I have a twin brother - and my mother's here in the audience to confirm that fact."
- "I want to thank Hofstra University here in Hempstead, New York for hosting this debate. I sleep better at sea level, and I'm rested and ready for tonight's debate."
- "We don't own a dog."

No, his problem is that he “just can’t get his message out.”

‘Polite’ probably means he didn’t do something unbelievably immature — like scratch his cheek with his middle finger and smirk at the camera to make sure his equally immature commie supporters got the message.

Deliberately lying to the American people, during a presidential debate, is not what I would consider as “to polite”.

“This is going to be really fun since a lot of voters have NO IDEA that the Obama Administration lied through their teeth about the Benghazi attack and Romney will get the chance to break the story to a lot of them.”
You are spot on, plus Romney is going to shock the “Creep” during this debate. We haven’t seen nothing yet.

He has to hide his true nature and thoughts from the public.
Speaking off the cuff while riled by someone you hate and disrespect is dangerous for Bam Bam. He wants to protect the false image the media has painted of him.
To: married21
You mean he's not going to go visit Hoover Dam the day before the debate again? Gee he really must be serious. Romney must be shaking in his boots.

I love that he is so narcissistic that he can’t even say he is down one. He acts as if he already won two debates, and just dropped one, so he can still tell himself he is still ahead.
A narcissist who has failed, and everyone knows it. Man is this going to be fun to watch, as he unravels.
