A new poll of Minnesota voters shows Democratic President Obama with a ten percentage point advantage over Republican Mitt Romney and Democratic Senate incumbent Amy Klobuchar with a 26 percentage point advantage over Republican Kurt Bills.

The poll of Minnesota voters actually showed the president support narrowly increased from 51 percent to Romney's 44 percent in September to 53 percent to Romney's 43 percent in the recent polling. The PPP poll of Minnesota was done on Saturday and Sunday, perhaps mitigating the Obama dip of immediately after the Wednesday debate.

The pollster, which works with Democrats but releases public polls on races all over the nation, continues to produce results showing Klobuchar, a first-term Senator, is one of the most popular senators in the nation.

We had 16 good years in Minnesota. Back in 2000, we had 30 days of 20 below or 20 days of 30 below (I forget which) so we took our Yankee money and moved south.

Lived there on and off the same number of years, and can attest to your
Recollection regarding temps.

Also like you have moved on to the sunny south.

FWIW, the Red Star’s polling is historically 7 points off in favor of the Democrat.

Many out staters laugh at Ventura but when he ran for Gov, he sounded conservative. he gave back thousands of dollars (we got a check for $3 or $4 thousand) as “overpayment” in sales tax or something because his conservative insticticts suggested the money ought to be returned. And we got some tax money back, based on what we paid. This was good.
Sadly, six months into his administration, Jesse went nuts and spooked out, threatening to kill at reporter for the Strib. That was his undoing...

That's about what one would expect from today's "objective" Main Stream Media. Spotting the Democrats 7 points is "objectivity" under the current rules.

I’ll agree he was more conservative to start with.

Franken on the other hand is hard to comprehend......
