Watch this......you know the moment a campaign falls into ridicule of itself and you can't take them seriously ever again. Journo's falling over laughing this morning, calling it the "jump the shark moment"
“with ads like this, the American public just gets another reinforcing optic of what an arrogant, snotty little boy he is”
This pack of punks is arrogant - all of them! They had the gall to call out Romney for not “fielding questions” from children on topics such as queer “marriage.” Do they actually think that kind of thing sets well with most parents? They’re deranged.
IMHO, this is the kind of material one puts together with the remaining staff still on hand while all of the others are stampeding over each other to get into the bunker...
Since The Debate Obama Has Mentioned Big Bird 8 Times, Elmo 5 Times, Libya 0 Times & Plans To Fix The Economy 0 Times
It can’t be real.....
Obama/Big Bird, 2012
Big Bird would look good on a nice bed of rice, surrounded by evil greedy rich Republican warmongers with their forks & knives ready to dig in.
This message is brought to you by the letter “R”.
;^)
Not this particular ad, but the underlying lack of acknowledgment that Obama has been in charge for 4 long years.
In our area, the most prevalent ad by Romney is the one where he says Obama isn't standing up to China. It's effective, but hardly the primary issue in most voter's minds.
Obama came out with an ad in response that attacks Romney's record on China.
But the distinction that needs to be made, and this applies regarding a lot of Obama’s attacks on Romney, is Romney, like other businessmen, is operating - has to operate, in the environment created by government.
By contrast, Obama is responsible for that environment.
I'm not sure how to articulate this better, but people seem to respond well when hypocrisy is pointed out. Well attacking a businessman for making the most, legally, out of a body of rules and laws you and your party largely created, is the ultimate in hypocrisy.
By contrast, Obama is painting Romney as hypocritical for operating in an environment that he had little part in creating (at least outside of Taxachusets), and pointing out the system is broken even though a businessman in this environment has a front row seat to the carnage.
I thought this was already the ticket!
“even the obots are hanging their heads in shame”
After EVERYTHING obama has done to our country, and this is what they hang their heads over!
I hope they’re so depressed they give up and stay home.
You hit the nail on the head. That pretty much sums up what the left has been doing the last 3.5 years. Too bad the media is part of their campaign, or at least they'd get an occasional question on silly things like the economy, Libya, and maybe even gun-running.
You know...Biden and Big Bird DO sort of resemble each other.

Obama should just show up at the next debate in a Big Bird suit.
Actually, the ad looks pretty effective. It points out that Wall St welfare isn’t a problem, but public broadcasting is. That is not going to go over well with the average smoe who doesn’t know about everyday news that we know about, but not a lot of people.
Romney needs to get ahead of this.
It’s on Drudge ...
UNBELIEVABLE!
I think I might just die laughing...
