How totally awful!
Prayers for his family and friends..........
I am sure the Brits are happy he was at least killed the British way, and not killed by gunshot.
>>Mike Jones
Who?
Out of order mate, out of order.
New York can be a dangerous town. My sympathy for his relations
I don’t know how safe,or unsafe, the streets of major British cities are but as one who’s quite familiar with several US cities (including NYC) there’s not a city in this country whose streets I’d be wandering at 4AM.And that goes *double* for NYC.That’s certainly not to say that the kid’s to blame for his own death...well,I guess kids, particularly European kids, might not appreciate just how dangerous our cities can be at night.
Jones was visiting a friend in the West Village when emergency responders found him laying in a pool of blood, with a severed left ear and stab wounds to his neck and torso. He was transported to Bellevue Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Authorities said Jones was with his sister and a friend until midnight, when they parted ways. A surveillance video shows Jones and the suspected attacker walking together down 14th street near Union Square where they got into an argument and the suspect attacked.
So sorry for this man and his family. So senseless. 25 years old!
Yes, I agree. There are parts of New York that you want to stay out of at any time of day. But the “safe” parts become unsafe during the small hours of the morning, when muggers and thugs are likely to leave their neighborhoods and go wandering after prey. Maybe get themselves a bit of drug money, or an iPhone, or a wristwatch.
I would imagine he was warned, but sometimes people have a hard time believing it. Prayers for him and his family.
Really poor form.
What would possess you to make an statement such as that?
It is hard to believe that a Freeper can be as insensitive as your remark is.........

>>Who?
Back then they didn’t want me...
That’s not nice at all.
That’s horrible. :( Prayers for his family.
Dumb-ass thing to say.
My thoughts and prayers are with Michael Jones and his family.
Had he shot and killed his murderer (such as George Zimmerman), he’d be in jail this morning and being victimized by those in the system that would work diligently to destroy his life and send him to prison..... for saving his own life.
Lucky thing Bloomberg hates guns are he might have been shot instead.
Not funny.
