President Obama had a terrible debate last week. Supporters and opponents were shocked that he could be so off his game. They shouldn't have been. That they were indicates that they don't understand Obama's serious, likely insurmountable re-election problem.
Obama supporters and detractors expect the old Obama to show better form in the next debate. But that is not going to happen! It cannot, because Obama's critical problem is not correctable.
Obama's Real Problem
The media seemed more surprised by Obama's performance than Romney's. It was Romney who was the surprise and exposed Obama's Achilles heel. Daniel Henninger observed (my emphasis added):
... no one expected or predicted that Barack Obama could be so pushed off his game or look so flustered in a contest of articulating ideas.Obama's problem, to put it politely, is his looseness with facts. He is the quintessential "sound-bite" president. Truth for him is whatever he chooses it to be, whatever is necessary to turn things in his favor. His self-aggrandizement and arrogance, coupled with a hero-worshiping media, has enabled him to such an extent that it is possible that he no longer believes there is truth other than what he wants it to be. That is his problem, and it has been reinforced for most of his life.
Obama created his own fantasy bubble. He began by inventing history in two so-called autobiographies. Challenging anything in his self-created Alice in Wonderland world brought automatic charges of racism and other attacks from his defenders. After years of living in his bubble, one wonders whether Mr. Obama even knows objectivity or truth. This psychopathology was reinforced by admirers to the extent that Obama has made it a key tool in his political arsenal.

And because Hillary is fast and loose with the truth. They were playing the same game. Not so Romney. He is in a different league than BO, Hillary, Lehrer and all who shuffle the truth around in order to prop up their lifestyle.
Romney is comfortable with the truth.
Many voters are not comfortable with the truth- for instance the truth of their future which is : if BO gets back in everything will fail and he’ll zip outta here leaving the sillies who voted him in on their own and they have no skills of self reliance, which they’ll need in any case- sooner if BO gets back in.

I thought the next debate was foreign policy, but here’s the schedule. Biden/Ryan is listed as domestic and foreign policy, as is the 2nd Romney/Obama debate. The final Romney/Obama debate is specifically foreign policy.

However, Obozo will have to overcome two weeks worth of momentum for Romney while waiting for his next chance at Romney.
Obozo's biggest mistake may end up being the fact that he didn't do two Presidential debates first then the Veep debate.
All anyone is really looking for ina Veep is competence to take over if something happens to the President. Ole Plugs Bite Me! is going to be gaming Ryan to make him look like a child ill equipped to take over....
Ryan should paper him with all the years of deficit spending Biden voted for that helped get America where it is today and hit him with lots of facts and figures that Biden is unaware of since he left the safety of his Senate seat.
Just my take?.....

Geez, I wonder which one the media will concentrate on first, domestic or foreign policy....neither one is going well right now for Obozo / Bite me!
The unfortunate aspect of the Obama presidency, is that an increasing number of people are thinking that the guys at stormfront were right all along.
Just putting that out there as food for thought, although my instincts say the modus operendi will not change.....continued attempts will be made to assist Obozo to a second term.
And he was issuing orders to divisions that no longer existed.
Nuvigil's side effects include "frenzied, abnormally excited mood; hallucinating (seeing things or hearing voices that do not exist); anxiety; depression; thinking about killing or harming yourself". Oh, yes, Obama on Nuvigil in a stressful situation would potentially be FUN to watch!
remember the next debate is in NY (I think) and Gallop (I believe) will “PICK” the undecided voters to ask question.....as the whole debate will be questions from people.....I smell a set up here..........
One of the most important things we can do here in the Heartland is to watch and record these upcoming debates. Especially we must identify the persons asking questions in the Town Hall format. As we have seen in the past few years the Democrats are not at all shy about putting their own people in to ask embarrassing questions. We on the other hand can turn that around on them and identify any party hacks that get infiltrated and set up as “unbiased” questioners.
Basically, what you’re saying is that Obama won’t say anything intelligent, but he’ll say it a lot faster.

I wish I had an old suit to sit out in my empty chair to show how Obama is an empty suit. All academic verbage and hypothicals that he wants to apply to reality because true substance means people actually have to work and save rather then have things hand by an overlord government which is how Obama came to be who and what he is.

If you elect me President I will lead us out of this death spiral by unleashing the unstoppable energy of the American Spirit. We will grow our economy and there will be more opportunity for everyone.
Mr Obama is fixated on creating a floor that no one can fall below. I believe the American dream is to live a life where there is no ceiling on how far we can rise.
Do not be prisoner of what you fear might happen. Fear is a great enemy that saps your will. Instead be an activist in the name of your own individual prosperity.
One of the greatest gifts a person can give to their family, to their community and to their nation is the gift of self reliance. By so doing you provide resources for yourself and also those in need. By being self reliant you contribute to the well being of the whole in a quiet yet powerful way.
We must unleash the power of the private sector in order to create opportunity for self reliance. Mr Obama will continue to expand the reach and cost of the public sector government bureaucracies. All well intentioned government programs with nice sounding names.
But the reality is that government can never provide the quality of life that a free man or woman acting in his/her own best interests will provide for themselves. Unless of course you hold one of those government jobs. The unspoken truth is that when it comes right down to it...government does of great job of taking care of government, but a very poor job of taking care of people.
Your choice is to be a servant of government, dependent on a government agency, or will you be an agent of your own destiny, capitalizing on the opportunities available in a free America where you can rise to any height unfettered by a domineering government class that is addicted to the fruits of your labor.

I don’t recall the 08 campaign as I have blocked that love fest out of my mind. What happened during the debates of the campaign. Was he as bad as this past debate? If so, I don’t think it will matter.
Man, talk about an opening line that Romney should start with, "Mr President, this election represents the judgement of history, and I am hear to give an accounting of what you have done..."
followed up with a truthful telling of obama's record. He would be so thrown off his game plan, that he wouldn't be able to recover.
