Sam Donaldson had some harsh words this weekend for President Obama's performance at Wednesday's debate.
Appearing on the syndicated Chris Matthews Show, the former ABC White House correspondent said, "If he comes to the next two debates with the same demeanor, with the same passive resistance, he’s losing" (video follows with transcript and commentary):

It's possibly that big because the president seemed to be on a glide path toward re-election, and all of a sudden here comes the raging bull, Mitt Romney, out of the dock, and the toreador runs for the safety exits instead of counterpunching, instead of getting him hard. What happened to Barack Obama? I'm not certain. I don't know. But I know this: if he comes to the next two debates with the same demeanor, with the same passive resistance, he’s losing.

I read a pretty interesting article by Byron York today that went over O’s “work” history.
To summarize..got bored easily, impatient with his ideas not being implemented quickly, always wanted a higher office...and didn’t stay on a job or political position more than 4-5 years.
Looks like his time line may have maxed out. I don’t think he wants the job any longer either.

Its not the softball qustions Obama gets vs. The zingers Romney will. It all matters on how Romney reacts to Obama’s softball answers and nails him to the wall for his lies. Judging on how Romney fared well in the first debate, i’m sure he’ll do fine kicking some tail!
Don’t recall journalists being worried about McCain’s first debate performance. I thought he thought they were his friend.

Obama will bounce back in the ‘town hall’ this week. It’ll be full of planted soft balls for him and gotchas for Romney.
Immediately after the debate, the first pundit I heard was Donaldson who claimed he wasn’t sure who won the debate!
I guess we just have to wait and see, don’t we?
I did see Mitt go over to his podium and do something, but I don't remember the Zero's coming back in.
That picture is so full of hate by the Zero's, love the look on Romney as he knows they are looking at him with spite.
