It will be like the inspector in the Pink Panther, screaming Clouseau, except it will be Mitt ! Mitt ! LOL !!!!
Rasmussen is apparently using D+3. Based on his monthly numbers, the electorate is at R+4. I expect somewhere between R+0 and R+3 for the election. That would put Romney up by 5 to 8 percent. The latest Rasmussen independent count was Romney +16.
You are right. I bet Romney is at least up another point or two since this is a weekend poll.
Modest bounce? From -3 to +2? With so few undecideds, that’s a huge bounce.
I dont know. Usually in presidential years, democraps have a slight advantage. I think a D+2 is probably more realistic.
Then Romney should lead by at least 5 by Wednesday.
“Note too that Rasmussen gives Romney a 16 point advantage among independents.”
Do you have a link to internals? I thought Ras had indies split at 47-47. If this is true then it would be practically impossible for Mitt to lose, especially if Ras uses the current GOP party ID advantage of 2.6 pts.
I find it distressing that conservatives are set to vote for a liberal just because he carries an “R” after his name
Vote for 0bama then LMAO. Problem solved.
You would prefer that we vote for the radical with a "D" after his name?
Is that what you want?
Sorry, didn’t read further down. Still, I don’t see the 16-pt advantage. It is interesting to see AA Romney support at 12% yet only 2% disapprove of BO’s performance. What gives?
No.
But it’s more and more evidence to me that too many conservatives are reflexively voting for Republicans without question.
Just what we need. Another big government Republican
I love the reflexive, non thinking answer because I won’t vote for a liberal Republican that must mean I’m voting for BHO.
LOL!!! Nothing like letting the fingers type before the mind engages
If I might ask...
Who the hell do you think they should be voting for?
You said...
“Who the hell do you think they should be voting for?”
It’s none of my business who people should vote for. I’m just pointing out that Mitt is a liberal that too many conservatives are voting for simply because he’s a Republican.
There is no way conservatives would vote for him except for the party label with his record and past positions
Yeah, LMAO, I hear you. I wish Romney was more conservative, too. (I wanted Newt, with all my heart). But it just didn’t happen.
But I do believe Romney is a highly intelligent, good and decent man who does not hate America as Obama very obviously does. Romney is not going to “spread the wealth” or promote socialism openly. He’s for a strong military. I believe he’ll do the best job he can — I think he’s really eager to get to work to solve at least SOME of this country’s problems — and I don’t think we’re going to see him out golfing or playing basketball, wasting taxpayer dollars on trips to Spain and generally acting like a freaking CLASSLESS PUNK.
In the end, Americans need to solve these problems themselves, also. They need to get off their fat butts. They need to vote in conservative representatives, and then we can hold Rom’s feet to the fire.
May I ask again...?
Have you considered the alternative?
My surprise, and disappointment, is after the rise of the TEA Party we ended up with a nominee like Romney
