Bias: Their ideological champion having been verbally undressed by a competent challenger, the tingles that used to run up the legs of the mainstream media have been replaced by the mother of all anxiety attacks.
Perhaps Clint Eastwood's chair would have given a better and less-wooden debate performance than President Obama did Wednesday in Denver, site of his coronation in 2008 amid faux Greek columns and with a full set of TelePrompters loaded with slogans on hope and change.
As GOP challenger Mitt Romney masterfully and relentlessly pummeled an emperor revealed to have no clothes with incontrovertible facts and figures on the most dismal four-year record in presidential history, no greater evidence of buyer's remorse was found than in the studios of MSNBC and in the person of Chris Matthews.
There were no tingles running up Matthews' leg as Romney pulled back the curtain to reveal Obama was no wizard, but a charlatan. His ballistic response to Romney's verbal waterboarding of the empty suit to his left confirmed the observation of ABC's Jake Tapper that the media were in the tank for Obama in 2008 and are again. The fourth estate has been Obama's fifth column.
"Where was Obama tonight?" Matthews shrieked at MSNBC's Rachel Maddow. "He should watch, well, not just 'Hardball.' Rachel, he should watch you, he should watch the Reverend Al (Sharpton), he should watch Lawrence (O'Donnell), he would learn something about this debate."
Maybe he has been, and maybe that's the problem. An endless supply of failed nostrums unsupported by facts or history is what the likes of MSNBC provides its limited viewersh

You didn’t have to listen to the talking heads at MSNBC, you just had to look at their devastated faces to know how the debate turned out. It was a beautiful thing.
The line of the night that really took hold:
“Trickle Down Government”
I went over to CNN to check out the wake. LOL I don’t know how you folks can stomach MSNBC.
He seems to have some sort of on-air meltdown or unsavory public incident every couple of weeks. He's the Zelda Fitzgerald or Lindsey Lohan of the MSM.
Last night's emotional collapse was truly an overwrought epic.
I actually for the first time in a long time tuned into MSDNC just to watch them cry and it was VERY enjoyable..Matthews, Schultz, and Maddow looked like their best friend died last night, and in a way, thats exactly what happened. The whole media persona that Obama is this God like figure who is a genius that they have been shoving down our throats for the last four years was destroyed last night. Everyone saw Obama for the dumb ass that he really is. Without his teleprompter he is just like Clint Eastwood said, an empty chair
Here’s the money line from the editorial:
“Yes, there’s a debate going on in this country, but it’s not at MSNBC. It’s held every night around millions of kitchen tables and it’s about jobs, gasoline and food prices, and a president who worries about the distribution of the golden eggs rather than the economic health of the goose.”
Kind if like “You’re not entitled to your own facts.”
Here’s a link to Matthews’ rant for those who haven’t had the pleasure:
Poor Chrissy! He went from having a tingle run up his leg in 2008 to something warm running down it in 2012. ;o)
No tingle down his leg?
What he needs is a boot up his @$$
Matthews makes people’s skin crawl. Does he drink too much?
Mongol General: Hao! Dai ye! We won again! This is good, but what is best in life?
Mongol: The open steppe, fleet horse, falcons at your wrist, and the wind in your hair.
Mongol General: Wrong! Willard! What is best in life?
Willard: To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women and Chris Matthews.
Mongol General: That is good! That is good.
Thank you
I went to CNN also. Carvil was a trip! Had me laughing pretty hard. I can’t watch MSNBC either. Can’t stand those idiots and watching them makes me feel like I did when I was a kid getting sent to my room for being bad! Thanks but no thanks. I appreciate those that do watch for us though.
Media bias ping
I watched MSNBC for about 15 minutes after the debate and was laughing my ass off. These dolts were looking for the Malcolm X side of Obama and got Opie Taylor instead. It was a pathetic display.
“What he needs is a boot up his @$$”
Can I suggest something that he might NOT enjoy?
Obama was doomed in this debate! How do you defend being the architect of failure?
