The AARP, which put itself in the middle of the health care debate by endorsing ObamaCare, now is telling President Obama to keep the group out of his political talking points.
The nation's leading senior advocacy organization objected after the president during Wednesday's debate twice mentioned the AARP while defending his health care plan and attacking Mitt Romney's plans for Medicare...

An ABSOLUTELY STUNNING summation from ABC news radio at the top of the hour while listening to Chris Plante
Depending on who you ask, Mitt was either (good trait) or (bad trait), and the kenyan was either (good trait) or (bad trait).
Then, the reporter spoke to a republican who thought Mitt blew it, followed by a sound bite from a dem who thought the kenyan blew it.
Summed it up by saying, One things for sure, the debate probably didnt change any minds.
So, nobody won, nobody lost, and the whole thing was utterly meaningless!
I don’t care if they disown the Zer0.
All their mail still goes into my shredder.
Their social positions are diametrically opposed to mine.
AARP cam go rot.
Uh oh. aarp jumps the sinking ship
When I saw absolutely stunning and ABC I thought you were going to relate that they had told the truth. I see not.
You made your bed, old people.
Just read this post in the political forums from a user called "Good Progressive".
"No More Obama-Romney debates"
President Obama should deputize Bill Clinton to do the next debate.
Our President is far too busy with matters of state to deal with this man "Romney", whom he does not even know.
President Obama has no need to prove himself to anybody.
If Romney will not accept this, then fine - NO more debates!
What is right is right, there is NO need for debate to find out what it is.
Progress! Forward!
What grounds is AARP standing upon? They’re basically asking Obama not to tell the truth.
?????????????????????????????????????
I guess THEY are concerned their man won’t win.
When Libs loose, they act just like the GOP - they eat their own instead of revising their mistakes.
Too late AARP. Everyone knows there are non-liberal alternatives to your org.
What? aarp is sooooooooo in bed for the clownmander in chief. I guess they too didn’t see the most intelligent man in the world on stage last night and now want to distance themselves from him. I only ever got 2 things from aarp and after the second one and my response, they don’t come around no more. LOL!
Helping keep mankind warm for 65 years.
Too late AARP. We know who’s side you’re on.
AARP cancellations must be going viral.
This is too funny to watch AARP toss Obama under the bus!!!!!
Did Stephy write the script?
GEORGE STEPHANOPOULOS: I think Governor Romney definitely more crisp in his presentation tonight. He was leaning into the debate, where President Obama was a little bit more laid back. I also think he was able to be aggressive without being offensive. So, even though there were I didn’t see any knockout punches-
SAWYER: No-
STEPHANOPOULOS: I didn’t see breakthrough moments or major mistakes by either candidate. I think Governor Romney will get the boost that challengers usually get coming out of these debates. The big question: did he do anything to dramatically change the trajectory of the race?
The stink from playing with Obama will stick to the AARP forever. Let them go broke. I do my bit by mailing all their enrollment junk back to them in their postage paid envelop.
I’d love if Barky cancelled any further debates. Romney could buy a half hour of air time and debate an empty chair. It would be awesome. (although the chair would probably do better than Barky did last night. Certainly the smell of flop sweat wouldn’t be as strong.)
ABC News is a media clown car.
AARP is right up there with those two other bastions of political objectivity: Planned Parenthood and the NAACP.
Long ago AARP lost any chance of me being a member. My recycle bin has had many pieces of junk AARP mail added to it.
