Here is an unofficial list of potential nominees for the Supreme Court if President Barack Obama is reelected. This list was compiled from a number of legal and political sources, including government officials deeply involved in the selections of Justices Sonia Sotomayor (2009) and Elena Kagan (2010).
The Obama administration, like those before, keeps an informal list of possible high court nominees to consider in the event of a sudden vacancy. But serious vetting only begins when such a vacancy occurs or is announced in advance by the retiring justice.
Kamala Harris, California attorney general
Born 1964. She was elected to her current job in 2010. She is part African-American, part Asian-American. Her father is a Jamaican-born Stanford University economics professor and her mother is an Indian-born (native Tamil) physician who works as a breast cancer specialist. Harris is a former San Francisco district attorney and author of "Smart on Crime." Her political savvy, ethnic background, telegenic personality, law enforcement credentials, and early support of President Obama's 2008 candidacy make her a favorite for any high court vacancy in any second-term, and possibly for U.S. Attorney General. Complications: Harris may seek re-election in 2014 and then may run for governor the following year.
Judge Paul Watford, 9th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals, San Francisco
Born 1967. His age and race (African-American) have made him a favorite among some liberal court watchers. Named to the appeals court in 2012. Clerked for conservative Judge Alex Kozinski on the 9th Circuit, and later for liberal Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. A former federal prosecutor and law firm partner. Supporters call him an ideological moderate, which may not sit well with progressives seeking a stronger left-leaning voice....

If Romney ran an ad simply listing the names and “accomplishments” of potential 0bama second-term SCOTUS appointees, it would be his most effective ad yet.

He’d just go ahead and nominate satan.

This is the real horror we face.

Here are Romney's picks:
David Souter clone
Warren Burger clone
Harold Blackmun clone
John Paul Stevens clone
An anomaly in the mold of Clarence Thomas (But only by the grace of God and the moderates slip up with their "politic'in")
The GOP moderates crave moral relativist and big government cronies, liberty from "Above" Justices are an accident, if history is our guide; either way a crap shoot with Romney, might surprise us if elected, but don't have high hopes though, lol. The only reason why I am voting for Romney, because of chance wich is pathetic if that is our biggest weapon against dems.

If he’s reelected why would we need a Supreme Court?

Not at all! I’m just saying that with obama in the White House we don’t need a Supreme Court, or for that matter a Congress.

When Roberts is fired, I will be happy. That’s all I care about right now... Other than that, I frankly don’t give a damn, because Roberts has proven that SCOTUS has now been fully compromised by the anti-constitutional socialists.
If Roberts is not fired, and his landmark decision reversed within the next 12 months, this country is flippin over.

Another comment, why are democrat nominees solidly Marxists, but people who perpetually vote for republicans and are for limited government, need to hope and pray that their President's nominees pan out?
This should give you a clue why the limited government types need to really think what the republican Party really wants/how they act on your behalf. The Supreme Court should have been stacked with "conservatives" from 1970's-present, but has been leaning hyper-moderate. Why is that? (Rhetorical, but for only those who don't wear Republican beer goggles).

Bunch of nitwits.
But here is Obamalamadingdong’s first choice:
Eric Holder, Chief Justice. The only option I can think of worse than the ones on your list.

Obfuscation. He will choose from Muslim lawyers. Can you say, “Sharia?”

If that were to happen the Congressional Repubs would completely roll-over. BTW, I am saying Republican leadership in Congress are cowards and easily intimidated. Actions speak louder than anything else, including voting on legislation (Not the HOR’s only responsibility btw).

Sorry, I crossed posted on the Romney SC potentials. Will C/P here:
Pay close attention to the word “unofficial”, the “who can we get past the Senate” Repub thinking, vs. the “we are going to ram our nominee down your throat” dems thinking are not in play when projecting your link. I am sure Nixons pre-election nominees looked like Jefferson and Madison clones, yet look what happened, lol.
