I may just poll my comment section and pass that off as a Battleground State poll. The Washington Post explained that rather curious Swing State subsection in todays national poll where Obama had an incredible 11-point lead relative to his national lead of only 2-points:
The WaPo-ABC swing state poll numbers, explained
Mondays Washington Post-ABC News poll adds to the evidence of an emerging, important dynamic in the presidential contest showing closer parity nationally than in key battleground states, where President Obama has had clear leads.

poll ping list
Apparently they only polled the news room.
wow...so in essence from the national poll they made a sub poll based on the where the respondents from the national poll lived??? pretty pathetic...
There were that many people in the local supermarket yesterday.
As stated in the article there were 161 people for the 8 swings states that were polled. That averages 20 people per state. What an absolute joke.
What’s great is that the media outlet actually admitted what they did, and therefore can’t object when laughed at for speaking mathematical gibberish.
JMJ
More important is that in that poll the margin of error +/- 8.
Some poll tried to give Obama a 16-point enthusiasm gap in North Carolina.

If it was an antiquated 20th century poll based upon voice calls, and if there was any caller ID indication that it was them calling, I’m surprised THAT many people even picked up the phone to answer.
The most recent example of supremely biased media is the new publication by Newsweek headlining their choices for the ten best presidents ever. As you can guess, their incredible list includes such ridiculous non-luminaries as:
Teddy Roosevelt (the first Progressive);
Woodrow Wilson (the first real American dictator and another Progressive);
FDR (the first socialist/Progressive who jailed thousands of Japanese Americans for no good reason and helped extend the Depression for years);
Harry Truman (the very man who lost the Korean War);
LBJ (say who?) another immoral idiot who passed the progressive legislation we still have to contend with today-it’s pure Progressive ideology and costly). He also lost the Viet Nam War almost by himself);
JFK (the man who lost Cuba and nearly got us nuked plus being an immoral and useless president);
Bill Clinton, (as immoral as JFK, but also truly helped cause the housing bubble, a Progressive disaster).
Barack Hussein Obama is # 10 on their list. What exactly has he done for America? What positive thing he has accomplished Answer: NOTHING! The MSM loves him and protects him. If he is re-elected, the Nation is toast.
Poll ping.
Perdogg...a medal for you!
Keeping’ it real for the troopers here....
God bless.
Well, it IS Newsweek that no one reads...
But, hell’s bells...
If it weren’t for Ronaldus Magnus, those putzs would making little rocks out of big rocks in some gulag somewhere...
Yup, and it’s always unreliable to do that, unless you have massive numbers of people in the original poll. You need about 1,000 people in a poll to make the numbers credible at all. You cannot take a credible, 1,000 person poll and get anything credible by looking at small subgroups within it. That is junk polling science of the highest order. This episode lends major credence to the idea that the media are manipulating polls and the reporting on them to favor Obama.
Somehow I doubt if it had been Romney up by 5 in this little swing state "mini-poll" that they would have bothered to write an article about it.
What's next, OBAMA UP 60/40 psst...with a margin of error of +/- 20?
It does seem like like the mainstream media is now trying to create the same sense of "inevitability" of Obama's reelection that FOX and conservative media did for Romney in the primary. What scares me is that it worked pretty well there.
