I have to travel to Providence every so often and do not understand the politics. The south has these areas completely out-done at every level. My tax is squat compared to the NE area.

DNC Dave was annoyed that he had to share the stage with the Senator and the Princess. He’d have preferred to do a one man show. It’s quite a feat to fit so much smug arrogance into one body.

I find it interesting that women complained that Brown's usage of the words “she” and “her” are sexist.

Not surprisingly, the northeast is dying. The cities, outside of Boston and maybe Providence, are dying. Colleges keep some of the brains here —enough to fuel the high tech belt around Boston.

But the takers are getting the upper hand. I don’t know how far behind California we are.

Keep in mind Nutmeg that Coakley comes from North Adams, my guess is they were voting for a candidate that came from their neck of the woods.

Keep your powder dry. I will say the airport in Providence is nice and not difficult to navigate at all. I have a couple of Sam Adams beers there every time before taking off. Cheers

What pronoun did they want used, “he” or “it?”

How could anyone except someone with no moral compass list Scalia and Sotomayor as two of his ideal supreme court picks?

Do you truly think he believes repeal of DADT improved the strength of the military? Brown voted as he did for votes. It will weaken the military and cost combat soldiers (unlike him) their very lives.

Also, do you know that Mass. voters had a petition years ago to ban same sex marriage. A radical gay activist named Tom Lang published all of the names and addresses of those that signed the petition, obviously trying to stifle free speech and the right to vote. You know where Tom Lang and his ‘husband’ were when Obama signed the repeal of DADT? They were right there in Washington invited by none other than Scott Brown! So yes, I vehemently stand by my statement and frankly have no clue how any true conservative could view him any differently.

I don't know. A female reporter said that many of her friends complained that he referred to her (oops, I just did it... Professor Warren) with those words. The reporter asked a female panelist who said “I had a bigger problem with his tone (when he said those words).” I guess this was a Barbara Boxer moment. When Romney ran for Governor, some women complained when he said the word “unbecoming” because that has sexist overtones.

The debate went into a fair amount of detail about the extensive legal work that Warren has performed.

Her lack of a law license? Too boring to mention. It just didn’t come up, man.

I hear ya, and you are SO right about the insane taxes we pay up here.

I've said this numerous times on FR... my husband and I hope to (some day "soon") move out of the People's Socialist Republik of Connecticut, and re-locate to a Red State... most likely in the South.

We're considering states from Virginia to Florida. We've briefly spent time in Tennessee. Loved it and the people are SO nice! I admit I would miss the ocean though...

If you get a chance while in Rhode Island, check out the coastal area (and light houses, mansions, etc.) around Newport and Jamestown, RI. Coastal RI is beautiful... too bad it's so damn liberal.

“What’s up with those counties in western Massachusetts (I know all about Northampton), and the Gloucester area?”

Western MA not a lot of population for the most part. Many ultra liberal college in the area.

Gloucester has an urban area. You’ll notice little pockets of blue on the map. Those are urban areas. As you know those went Dem. West of Boston the blue areas are affluent moonbat suburbs.

TY for posting the US Senate map. I hadn’t seen it before.

In some ways, it looks almost like Minnesota. The core cities of Minneapolis-St Paul (plus the first ring suburbs) are heavily blue as well as notheastern Minnesota. But the rest of the state is surprisingly red in its voting habits.

“Seems as if Brown is debating Gregory.”

And as the old cliche’ goes, “Therein lies the problem”.

When will our candidates start saying “Look, I’m willing to attend any debate but I’m getting pretty damned sick of the “moderator” choices. These “moderators” are more often than not Democrats. Do you think you could try a little f**king harder to find a truly unbiased moderator?”

LOL, Liz: “I could work with Lugar.”
“He won’t be there.”
“Oh?”

Then she can definitely work with Lugar (since she won’t be there, either.)
