America is on the verge of fragmentation and civil conflict because its citizens have lost control of their government and lost faith in its political institutions.
Nineteenth century political satirist Ambrose Bierce once described Washington D.C. as a strife of interests masquerading as a contest of principles and the conduct of public affairs for private advantage.
Indeed. Not much has changed one hundred years on.
The August 27, 2012 Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that just eight percent (8%) of likely voters think that the US Congress is doing a good job.
Most Americans agree that the Democrat and Republican establishments are infested by individuals whose allegiance is not to their country, but to themselves and their political party. Their aim is to be unconstrained by the Constitution and the rule of law and unaccountable to the American people. Their conduct is driven by political expediency and winning elections for the sole purpose of obtaining power and profit.
The US has elections, but it no longer has representative government. The US has a free press, but one that is partisan and dishonest.

Someone seems to think so - news reports are rampant to the effect that every American governmental agency in existence has been stocking up on ammunition to the extent of literally millions of rounds.
Beats living under the rule of a Kenyan Marxist pig.
No.
NO...
But an Obama LOSS just might.
Remember, a lot of these Obama whackjobs are barely on the verge of sanity to begin with.
yeah, that is exactly right
IMO we’re screwed either way.
Zero loses, we have massive race riots.
Zero wins, we have a civil war.
I suspect a violent reaction to the election outcome is more likely with an Obama loss.
Here’s hoping he loses and the violence can be contained and put down.
I didn’t do all this prepping for nothin’.
The Question should be
Have the people of the USA become so fragmented that
all hope of E. Pluribus Unum has been lost?
Respective of outcome of any election?
Yes, buy gold and go Galt. The most dangerous thing to the regime is no one paying taxes.

There simply not enough folks who care or are willing for the disruption a war will cause. Hell if folks cant believe we are at war after 9-11 and loosing 3000 Americans on live TV I cant believe they will get excited by who wins a election..
Wouldn't be surprised to see some "disturbances" in the mountains of Appalachia or the deep Southwest, but they wouldn't accomplish much except to give the "yellowstream" media brief orgasms.
If Obama wins, I think there will be a collective yawn. If Romney wins, there may be riots in the big urban areas.
Time to cull the herd.
I don’t think there is a need for any armed conflict.
The truth is that if every conservative went Galt or on strike for just one week by not engaging in any commerce, as well as pull their children out of school, or just delay paying their taxes, it would do more to undermine liberalism than any other act, because the fact is that liberal need people to consume and pay taxes to function.
And this is what Ghandi did to protest the British Empire.
Can you image the heart attacks the liberal elite would have if conservatives to go Ghandi Galt on them?
