The political fundraising frenzy has entered the extreme stage this weekend as an 11th hour deadline looms, with retiring Rep. Barney Frank labeling the Tea Party a "national nightmare" that needs to be eliminated and former President Clinton issuing a virtual disaster proclamation of what GOP rule would bring to the nation.
In an email to Democrats, Frank blamed the nation's ills on the Tea Party that sent members to Washington in 2010 when voters expressed displeasure with one-party, Democratic rule.
"This is our chance to end the national nightmare of Tea Party Republican rule," he wrote.
Clinton in his email listed the dangers of giving the keys to the White House and Capitol Hill to Republicans.
"They want to cut the budget in a radical way, decimating programs that help the middle class, poor children, seniors, and those in science and technology that will create the good jobs of the future," he said.

...hmmm? Wonder which internal polling he got to see?
oops, sorry...
Get a good strong hold of that belt around his neck, and his nightmare WILL be over.
“Find a butt and kiss it.”
That ain’t Bawney’s style. He’s a pitcher, not a catcher. He only wants to,,,, well,,,, pitch,,, not catch. It’s quite obvious. His only interest is,,,,,, well,,,, nevermind. Butt, He’s not a “catcher,” He’s only a “pitcher.”
Real nightmare: You're a guy, locked in a room with Barney Frank. Your ankles and wrists are cuffed and cuffed again, so your cuffed wrists are also attached to your cuffed ankles.
You are held in a, sort of, belt attached to a cable attached to the ceiling.
You are clothing challenged.
Barney Frank shows you a bottle full of viagra pills.
Yeah Barney, who in their right mind wants a government where fiscal responsiblity is paramount, where wasteful spending is curbed, where people control the government rather than vice-versa, where dependency is lessened and opportunity is increased, where personal responsibility is heralded, where taxes are reasonable, where politicians actually care about their constituents. Yeah, how silly of people to want all of that.
Im kidding its OK
“We must be doing something right, boys! Lets keep it up.”
This is actually the correct response to Bawney.
No castigation’s, no condemnation, only celebration over his angst.
Bawney stew.....let him.
Uh...Wasn’t Barney a principle architect in the housing finacial and economic crisis?
Indeed, they’re losing their water.
Barnyard Frank says “end Tea Party nightmare”: translation: end average citizens interest in accountability of corrupt, government officials.
Had me fooled. When did the TEA Party take over the reins of power? < /sarc >
Elitist POS. I don’t want anything to do with people who recurrently elect people like this, allowing them to live high off the backs of hard working taxpayers, all the time pushing their own personal agenda while being impervious to the laws they make.
If he thinks the Tea Party is a nightmare, wait until Jesus returns as King of kings and Lord of lords.
let’s end the Democrat’s nightmare idiocy that is passing for leadership in this land
Clinton Barney Frank have that ole time book burning mentality...
