Since I brought up Tori Amos in comparing Ingrid Michaelson to her, I thought I'd throw one in.

There's a similarity of style and technique, but the personae couldn't be different. Tori Amos is far more in your face with a certain slightly warped fury. I wonder if she's ever made peace with her fundamentalist father or if she's still lashing out? Regardless, that woman always could make some amazing sounds.
