“Study by Proffesor Ilyas Ba Yunus did a study in certain parts of the United States and found that 75% of new muslims leave Islam.
Please note, I know that this figure is not for all Muslim converts in the whole world and is the figure for the sample of about 200 people. And the research was done by an Islamic group and an Islamic Professor, so there is no Kaffir conspiracy.
Anyway, what do you guys think the reason for this is? I personally think it is because most people do not research past the nice, happy dawah and afterwards, when they find out more about Islam, that is when they decide to leave.
I also think that as 50% of the converts that he interviewed were ex convicts, I think they were probably given this nice, happy flowery dawah about how Islam can change their lives and solve their problems, but then they find out that it doesn’t.
