“It is possible to deal with these problems, even with our Supreme Court's twisted reinterpretation of the Constitution, but it is very, very hard.”

I agree that it is very, very hard.

But in the DOD, specifically while under contractual terms of the UCMJ, military members are sworn to protect and defend the Constitution of the USA, while voluntarily losing most personal legal protections as civilian citizens.

They live under the much more restrictive code of the UCMJ.
Enforcement of the UCMJ has been slowly eroding, keeping pace with our declining moral values in civilian society, and the growth of a pervasive civilian government.

I wish I had the answer on how to correct our course.

Based on my limited knowledge of history, the breaking point is almost here.
The choice of who will be President when all hell breaks loose is Obama or Romney.
Some think it doesn't much matter, but I watched another RINO Presidential candidate, Ronald Reagan, stave off WWIII, and bring this nation back from the brink of economic collapse.

Romney has a better shot at repeating history for our betterment than does Obama.

Social Conservatives have unfortunately lost several important battles.
May God have mercy on our souls if they give up on the war now!

You are wrong. Enjoy the bliss of ignorance..

You want to play?

Calling me ignorant suggests you refer to facts rather than opinions on an issue. You espouse leftist opinion.

You equate homosexual sex (intrinsically disordered) with heterosexual sex (normal) by suggesting that some whore mongers not being disciplined is tantamount to allowing homosexual sex to be condoned in the military. Where do you get this type of moral relative reasoning to derive truth is anything but ignorant?

There are many useful idiots out there and I found another one.

Lame Duck Congress two years ago. The 60+ defeated house rats had nothing to lose, except their country.

Two pubbie senators voted in favor.

Gee, there's a surprise. This is the second time Ryan has backed off a conservative position for Romney's sake. Is it any wonder that Romney picked him? He's obviously willing to sell-out for power.

Pathetic.

At some point, men are going to have to stand up and take the country back from these pansies.

Conservatives have a habit of fighting against things and then giving up when they lose. If something is passed, they just surrender.

LOL. Didja ever think that maybe--just maybe--these "conservative" politicians never really believed what they claimed to believe in the first place? That it's all just for show and for votes? That's why they don't fight back when they lose. Because they never had any stinkin' intention to win in the first place.

The only exception seems to be Obamacare.

LOL. You keep thinking that.

I said when he took Ryan, that would remove Ryan from being a forceful leader in the House and shut him up. He is now shut up.

Bingo.

“I think this issue is past us,” he added. “It’s done. And I think we need to move on.”

Ironically, I'm past Ryan. He will never get a vote from me, and neither will Mittens. I need to move on.

I have no doubt we're headed in that direction, no matter which liberal wins in November. This nation has an appointment with destiny.

The whole country is going to move on, no matter who wins this election.

We've been on a trajectory toward a grand showdown between left and right for a long time now, and there's nothing the current crop of spineless politicians are going to do to stop it.

Does it matter?

Of course it matters. This is one of those "unring the bell" type things. What do you do with those who've availed themselves of the policy in the past year if your repealed?
