I am 50 years old. Last night I was watching TV and during the commercial I could not remember what show I was watching. I have never played contact sports. It’s what happens when you age. I know that Rush rails about football being emasculated by the "head injury" crowd but science is science.Never having attended medical school I know nothing about neurology,neurosurgery of neuropathology (the medical specialty that analyzes the human brain under a microscope).However,if,someday,these "brain scientists" decide that football,hockey,boxing or other sports/activities cause brain damage down the road we need to pay attention.

Only stands to reason that if you get your bell rung - a lot - that there will be consequences both short term and long term. We didn’t know that many years ago but we know it now. I think that the “Science is Settled” to quote the AGW crowd :)

Not accusing McMahon, but how many of these players with dementia type problems also used alcohol and drugs after they left the NFL? Forgetfulness is one of the effects of alcoholism.
