An impenetrable, insoluble mystery? I suppose such a thing is possible, but mankind hasn't encountered a single mystery in the physical realm that it hasn't eventually unlocked.

What of the highly problematic relationship between quantum mechanics and general relativity? The cause of gravity?

What of the highly problematic relationship between quantum mechanics and general relativity? The cause of gravity?

I'm just a lowly layman, but I believe that physicists will eventually discover that QM is senior to general relativity, and that we spiritual beings are the final quotient that will unlock the ultimate puzzles of the material world.
