Judge hints he may block Pennsylvania voter

With just six weeks until the presidential election, a judge raised the possibility Tuesday that he would move to block Pennsylvania’s controversial voter ID law. ”I’m giving you a heads-up,” Commonwealth Court Judge Robert E. Simpson Jr. told lawyers after a day’s testimony on whether the law is being implemented in ways that ensure no voters will be disenfranchised. “I think it’s a possibility there could be an injunction here.” Simpson then asked lawyers on both sides to be prepared to return to court Thursday to present arguments on what such an injunction should look like. There is no hearing Wednesday because of Yom Kippur. Simpson gave few if any further clues to what he may decide. But his comments provided a dramatic end to a day of testimony in a protracted and widely watched fight over the law, which requires voters to present photo identification at the polls.

A load. It’s good law and necessary to prevent fraud. Wonder who is buying the judges these days.

I think the PA Supreme Court essentially ordered him to do this, but they didn’t want their fingerprints on it, so he gets to issue the actual order.

The dead, dogs, cats, and illegals get a reprieve from a Penn. judge. One judge has just made your vote worthless. Think about that when illegals and bottom feeders dictate to you how money you will give them. The law of unintended consequences rules supreme! And now it will come back to bite you in the ass, with a vengeance.

Eric Holder unaware that court visitors must show ID

By JOSH GERSTEIN | 6/8/12 6:17 PM EDT

Due to a recent work assignment, I had the opportunity to enter a federal courthouse about 200 times in the past six weeks or so. Each and every time, I was asked for a photo ID, which the court security officer looked at and then allowed me to put away in my wallet.

This procedure, which takes place tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands of times each day in federal courthouses across the country, is apparently entirely unknown to the nation's top law enforcement officer, Attorney General Eric Holder.

At a House Judiciary Committee oversight hearing Thursday, Rep. Dan Lungren (R-Calif.) asked Holder about the practice, which has been standard procedure at most, if not all, federal courthouses for the last decade or so. ...

... Despite the security imperative to check the ID of every visitor to federal courts across the country, one very prominent court in the United States that gets a large volume of visitors does not require any ID to enter: the U.S. Supreme Court.

If he does, ignore him and get a rope.

We don't even have the Blind Lady of Justice to count on anymore. Another Lexington Green moment is our last chance.

We cannot vote it out, we cannot legislate it out and we can not litigate it out any longer. WE ALWAYS LOSE.

We are outnumbered by and governed by non-thinking, emotional beings whose convictions come and go like a $100 bills in a casino.

The Domestic "Majority Mob" will kill us, LITERALLY, before any Muslims do.

The Kenyan must go.

Is everyone aware that one of the plaintiffs in the PA lawsuit got her voter ID card? When the law was originally upheld in court, she went and got her ID the next day. I hope that is talked about in the legal arguments. Since the plaintiff had no trouble getting ID, the alleged difficulty in getting these ID cards is shot down.

No harm, no suit. Isn’t that the principle—you have to produce someone who has been demonstratively harmed? After all, that’s the excuse many courts used to refuse cases on Obama’s eligibility—no standing if you can’t show you’ve been harmed.

Time for state legislators to give these black-robed Marxists a “heads up.” You will be impeached and removed from the bench in 24-hours.
