A man suspected of taping a cell phone to his shoe to film underneath women's dresses was arrested by Fontana police Monday.
A customer at Target at 16964 Slover Ave. noticed the man filming under his wife's dress at 2:45 p.m. The suspect fled when the man yelled at him, police said.
The man chased the suspect into the parking lot where he held him until police arrived.
Police arrested Jose Alderete, 38, of Fontana and booked him into West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga.
Officers found several videos on Alderete's phone of women that appeared to have been filmed at different locations within the last month, police said. The names of the victims are unknown.

The arrested man was looking up the mans wifes dress,not the womans husband.
LOL; I don’t remember that one at all! (I wasn’t a PWH fan, though). Much bigger, strap-on cameras back then.
I read the book. It was hilarious and many parts did actually describe events at a Catholic school. However, I always viewed the premise (concocted by prudish nuns) as being ridiculous. Besides, I just don’t recall girls wearing black, patent leather shoes. At the Catholic high school I attended, all girls had to wear blue skirts which were supposed to extend below the knee. And they were not allowed to have their sweaters unbuttoned at the top. I think boys were fairly aware of the presence of girls by high school age. It didn’t matter much if they kept the buttons buttoned or the skirts below the knees.
