Akin told a crowd of supporters, In August I was given a trust , a trust to replace a senator that had not represented Missouri or our best interests. He added, I have one purpose going into November and thats replacing Claire McCaskill.
As the deadline to withdraw from the November general election ballot passed, Missouris Republican party issued a statement saying it will support Akin along with all the other Republican nominees on the ballot.

Todd Akin is a great example for young Americans. A natural leader, he remained true to conservative principles despite enormous pressure from nearly every Democrat and Republican liberal in this country. He single-handedly took on and whupped Karl Rove and the entire GOP establishment.
He’ll have no trouble whupping his Democrat opponent.
OK RNC, YOU'RE NEXT!! WHAT WILL IT BE?
Joined in 2012 .
It figures !
Its pathetic .
Missouri Ping List Please?
Uh... actually, conception IS rare, period, rape or not (if you understand how a woman's body works). And, because a baby is conceived in rape does NOT "justify" killing him. Maybe you have not seen the testimonies of babies (now adults) who were products of rape, and how grateful they are that their mothers did not kill them in the womb.
Nope, I’ve never been a paulbot, but I do have a candidate that I humbly suggest you consider - Tom Hoefling. He’s the real deal.
P.S. I predict that by election day, you’ll be rooting for Todd Akin!
What if Ronald Reagan had been born as a result of rape. Would you have been happy if his mother aborted him?
For many reasons he is not the first to do this, and by way will not be the last. Pathetic, I don’t think so, especially seeing how he is raising most of the funds by his campaign not the RNC or usual suspects.
If you like him then vote for him,if not keep supporting Claire.
No amount of money will save Akin. A bell can not be unrung.
The RNC could re-direct their entire budget to MO and Akin still loses. Take it to the bank.
Great! I’ll send him some money now that I know he’s in for the long run.
I agree 100%.
80% of the RNC money comes from “rinos” like me.
Any support of Akin will mean an 80% loss of money for the next 20 years.
FYI, between the Nrsc and Senate candidates, I’ve coughed up over 100,000 dollars this cycle. And yes I know the legal maximum is $117,000. I keep a close eye on this limit.
If the NRSC coughs up one dime for akin, I am done.
I don’t care about the abortion issue one way or the other.
However, Idiots should not run for US Senate. That is my litmus test.
Would you prefer that a law be passed to prohibit abortion in case pregnancy resulting from rape?
And if such law were to pass what would the punishment be limited to the abortionist only and not the mother?

“No amount of money will save Akin.”
Absolutely correct. But the Akintards will never accept that.
If Akin loses on Election Day, it certainly won’t be because of his lack of political skills and/or the ability to keep his mouth shut. It won’t be because he has the anatomical and biological knowledge of a 7th grader. It won’t be because McCaskill knew what an assclown he would be and dumped a lot of money into seeing to it that he’d be the GOP nominee.
It’ll be because of Karl Rove, Reince Priebus, “RINO’s” like you and I and the so-called “GOP establishment.
Akintards are the political world’s equivalent of alcoholics - but by proxy. They’ll never accept responsibility for their own candidate’s foibles. Instead, they’ll blame everyone else.
I like the nrsc. You should stop funding aking and fund mourdock, heller, and rehberg instead.
Unfortunately, we should have those seats in the bag, but they are very competitive. That is IN, NV, and MT.
Big difference, these days.

I heard Senator Blunt’s response to that today. He said that if Akin is close in a couple weeks after enduring Claire’s aire war against him, then he expects the PACs to enter the fray.
And if people dont fund RNC, obama wins and the Senate stays Democrat and Obamacare is in place forever.
Is that what you want?
The conservative crackup continues.
