“No amount of money will save Akin.”

Absolutely correct. But the Akintards will never accept that.

If Akin loses on Election Day, it certainly won’t be because of his lack of political skills and/or the ability to keep his mouth shut. It won’t be because he has the anatomical and biological knowledge of a 7th grader. It won’t be because McCaskill knew what an assclown he would be and dumped a lot of money into seeing to it that he’d be the GOP nominee.

It’ll be because of Karl Rove, Reince Priebus, “RINO’s” like you and I and the so-called “GOP establishment.

Akintards are the political world’s equivalent of alcoholics - but by proxy. They’ll never accept responsibility for their own candidate’s foibles. Instead, they’ll blame everyone else.

If Akin wins, I for one will be happy for him and be celebrating. And his supporters will be able to share in that victory. The victory will be Akin’s. He will own that victory.

If he loses, however. Akin and his supporters that advised him to stay in the race will own that defeat. They will try to blame others but in the end a real conservative accepts responsibility in their own losses. If Akin loses, he will own that defeat. And if we are one seat shy from a Senate majority Akin and those same supporters will also own that defeat

I am hoping he wins. We should all be hoping for that. As a Senator I would support every part of his agenda. By the way, he did very well in the debate!

Wow, that actually sound more like Mitt’s supporters and Obama’s supporters. I think you have pointed a finger in the wrong direction.

Here — meet some more Akintards: Jim DeMint et al.

“The challenge for Akin now is fundraising,” Hoskins writes. “Party leaders in Washington have made it clear that they won’t help him regardless of how close the race is. This isn’t the first time the Republican establishment has attacked and abandoned a conservative nominee, and it probably won’t be the last.

Ohh No — he used that forbidden words: “Republican establishment”. He must be an Akintard too.
