Laws? They’re for little people. Laws don’t apply to Harvard professors. They apply to Harvard janitors.

Compassion? Liberals are great at that. Just ask Elizabeth Warren who was paid nearly a quarter of a million dollars to help Travelers Insurance deny asbestos compensation to asbestos victims… and she did it while practicing law without a license. And wearing a fake Cherokee headdress.

After this latest story, I have a feeling that Elizabeth Warren wishes she had run for the Senate in Oklahoma, instead of in Professor Jacobson’s backyard.

Warren represented not just Travelers, but numerous other companies starting in the late 1990s working out of and using her Harvard Law School office in Cambridge, which she listed as her office of record on briefs filed with various courts. Warren, however, never has been licensed to practice law in Massachusetts.

He hit her with so much (legitimate) stuff during the first debate that she looked punch drunk by the time it ended. I would be very surprised if he didn't bring this up during the next one.

Anybody have a contact with her campaign because this is gold and a legitimate story that I think could sink her. There’s lot of dirt thrown around in election, but practicing law without a license is something you can’t debate. It’s despicable and shocking.

Do we know for sure that this is true? My wife is an attorney and she says that every brief or legal document filed has to have your bar license number on it and if these didn't appear the other side would balk.

The only way she could practice law without a license in her state would be if she was associated with another attorney with the proper license.

I trust Front Page Mag, but just wondering if we have other sources to confirm this. It is totally outrageous if true.

The laws may be written by lawyers to protect lawyers, but I'd think it would also be written to protect their legal monopoly. A question for the Freeper legal eagles: if you lose a lawsuit and the winning side's 'lawyer wasn't licensed as one do you have grounds to overturn the verdict? Or is there any way to sue that fake lawyer,' (and perhaps their 'client' too if you can show they knew she was fake or should have known so) for damages? I very much doubt the 'official' enforcement agencies in deep blue Massachusetts will act against Warren. But if there are $ available there's bound to be a licensed shyster somewhere who could find a greedy plaintiff and take on a civil case even Orly Taitz could win. Even if the courts lied together to protect Warren the news of such a suit would kill her candidacy. Now Jacobsen admits he still has a questions to resolve regarding possible licensure in other states, but those should be resolved in a few days leaving plenty of time for filing civil suits if suitable legal grounds are present.
