FOX News contributor KT McFarland told America’s Newsroom that by not meeting with foreign leaders at the United Nations this week Barack Obama has blocked Mitt Romney from meeting with the same leaders.
“Everybody is missing the point on why Obama is not meeting with these world leaders. Because in an election year it is the responsibility of the leaders to also meet with the opposition candidate. Romney has the right to meet with all of those world leaders too if Obama does. If Obama doesn’t, Romney doesn’t. And so the administration doesn’t want to get Romney in those pictures with world leaders because he’ll look presidential.”

What, he physically threw his body in front of Romney and blocked his path to Angela Merkel or David Cameron?
If so, it’s no wonder Obama didn’t meet with Bibi. Imagine the photograph comparison between the two meetings.
Why wouldn’t he be able to meet with leaders? When he worked for the Olympics, he got to meet many and still might have freindships & connections to those on the inside. He certainly is friendly with Netanyahu.
For all they know Obama might be re-elected.
In fact, he ought to meet with Netanyahu if only for 15mins while he’s here

Why are Romney's "rights" contingent on Obama's actions?

If they want to meet with LeBron James, or Clint Eastwood, or Jay Leno, or Ann Coulter, or Snoop Dogg, it's up to the two parties involved.
Who the hell sys that if Obama doesnt meet with them, that Romney can’t? I remember Obama having rallies in Berlin, meeting all kinds of foreigners, going to Iraq and telling them to wait until after the election before signing any agreements, etc.
I think that’s what KT was getting at. The photo ops would be a real plus for Romney, the last thing Obama wants. What an insecure little man.

No, I don’t follow the reasoning. The “Foreign Leaders” can meet with whomever they like, and if they want to meet with Romney, they can. That nut from Iran is meeting with (has met?) with OWS protesters, so Bibi could meet with Romney if he chose to. Nobody is being “blocked” by protocol here.
Obama is afraid Romney won’t want to meet with Obama’s buddies, Achmadinijad, Assad, and Morsi.
Hey, it’s a free country isn’t it? Romney’s only response to being “blocked” should be FUBO.
