In his speech to the United Nations General Assembly today the President of the United States declared that the future does not belong to practicing Christians. Already, the media and the left are in full denial, probably based on their general lack of understanding of theology. This would have been a gaffe had Mitt Romney said it. But with Barack Obama, he’s just speaking bold truths. His bold truth declares that the future does not belong to practicing Christians.
Pay careful attention to what he says:
"The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam. Yet to be credible, those who condemn that slander must also condemn the hate we see when the image of Jesus Christ is desecrated, churches are destroyed, or the Holocaust is denied. Let us condemn incitement against Sufi Muslims, and Shiite pilgrims. It is time to heed the words of Gandhi: “Intolerance is itself a form of violence and an obstacle to the growth of a true democratic spirit.” Together, we must work towards a world where we are strengthened by our differences, and not defined by them. That is what America embodies, and that is the vision we will support."
Now, that’s the full paragraph so no one can claim I took him out of context.
But consider this.
It is an orthodox Christian belief that Mohammed is not a prophet. Actual Christians, as opposed to many of the supposed Christians put up by the mainstream media, believe that Christ is the only way to salvation. Believing that is slandering Mohammed. That’s just a fact. If you don’t believe me, you go into the MIddle East and proclaim Christ is the way, the truth, and the life and see what happens to your life.

You totally lost me. Where in that speech did Obama dismiss the Holocaust or say that the future belongs only to educated women?
In the speech I read, he said that those who condemn the slander of Islam’s prophet must also condemn the hate displayed by Holocaust deniers. With respect to women, he said the future must be shaped by girls who have the opportunity to go to school and by those who believe that little girls should have the chance to live their dreams just like little boys do.
Obama has one and exactly one speech template.

He says these things that are equivalences but he says it in such a way
that the outrageous thing is not noticed. He mentions the holocaust.
Thus, hey the future must not belong to those who slander the prophet

Hey don’t use the fed. govt. and the HHS to force us to buy health
insurance, which we may need to save our life, to make us pay for
free birth control and sterilization.
Catholic teaching is that birth control and sterilization are against
God’s teaching to be fruitful and multiply.

George Bush said it, but Islam actually means “submit.”
He was trying to be a “nice guy” and “politically correct” to make it seem were not at war with Islam.

The Islamic definition of peace is to submit to the will of Allah or be killed.
So to say “Islam is a religion of peace” as GWB said, is a big giant steaming load of crap.
Hmmm...I wonder. Does the future also belong to homosexuals and those that promote and encourage (and indoctrinate children to accept) the homosexual lifestyle? It apparently lost something in the translation that Bush wasn’t aware of. Perhaps instead of Islam being a religion of peace, it really meant that Islam is a religion of pieces. Especially after their standard routine of suicide bombing. Somebody should have told him.
From now on, anyone that is either that stupid or that deliberately obtuse should be automatically disqualified for the highest office in the land. That’s a start.

I can go on all day long, the bottom line is the depth of my conviction, and the fact that I am depending on the depth of Muslims conviction.
The Islamic writings I have studied admit that Jesus was a prophet, a lord of his time, or however you want to phrase it. But you are wrong in believing such a belief denies that Muhammad is the prophet. They believe that Mohammed is the latter prophet. Therefore, his scripture takes precedence over the New Testament. It was God’s word delivered by Mohammad after He changed his mind on how humans should behave.
Your squeezing Joseph Smith into your post brought a laugh from me. Mormons believe in Jesus Christ and worship him as the Lord God. Joseph Smith was just a prophet, who, like you, believed that other religions were wrong.
Isn’t truth a defense against slander?
