... Romneys wife, Ann, was in attendance, and the candidate spoke of the concern he had for her when her plane had to make an emergency landing Friday en route to Santa Monica because of an electrical malfunction. I appreciate the fact that she is on the ground, safe and sound. And I dont think she knows just how worried some of us were, Romney said. When you have a fire in an aircraft, theres no place to go, exactly, theres no and you cant find any oxygen from outside the aircraft to get in the aircraft, because the windows dont open. I dont know why they dont do that. Its a real problem. So its very dangerous. And she was choking and rubbing her eyes. Fortunately, there was enough oxygen for the pilot and copilot to make a safe landing in Denver. But shes safe and sound. ...

Ask them why airlines provide flotation devices over land but not parachutes?
Romney was laughing when he made the comment. It was a joke.
More Daily Show bullsh*t...
Romney’s wife was just in a situation that could have been a burning aircraft.
Everyone who flies at one time or another has given thought to potentially being trapped in an aircraft, with few options for escape. Those of us in the know always look for the locations of the aircraft crash axes aboard every US commercial aircraft, when we get aboard. Civilian window breakers are widely available online, too. (I used to carry one)
Just because John Stewart and the liberal media are hypocrite idiots, doesn’t mean that those of us who fly often don’t think about things like that.
Hate to burn up with no chance to get out on my own, stuck behind a bunch of panicking sheep at the doors. How about you?
Remember AC797, that burned in Cinci? I do, I was there that day. Remember British Airtours Flight 28, that burned at Manchester?
Sorry, but this attack line just p***es me off. The mainstream media is trying to pigeon-hole Romney as an idiot.
LOL...or better yet, ask them why they dont make the entire plane out of whatever it is they make the black box out of!
ROTFL. Right on!
...The plane had climbed to 17300 feet over Didcot, Oxfordshire. Suddenly, there was a loud bang, and the fuselage quickly filled with condensation. The left windscreen, on the captain's side of the cockpit, had separated from the forward fuselage. Lancaster was jerked out of his seat by the rushing air and forced head first out of the cockpit, his knees snagging onto the flight controls. This left him with his whole upper torso out of the aircraft, and only his legs inside. The door to the flight deck was blown out onto the radio and navigation console, blocking the throttle control which caused the plane to continue gaining speed as they descended, while papers and other debris in the passenger cabin began blowing towards the cockpit. On the flight deck at the time, flight attendant Nigel Ogden quickly latched his hands onto the captain's belt. Susan Price and another flight attendant began to reassure passengers, secure loose objects, and take up emergency positions. Meanwhile, Lancaster was being battered and frozen in the 500 mph slipstream, and was losing consciousness due to the thin air...
NEVER! They wouldn't do that! (sarc)
(George w. Bush, Ronald Reagan, Dan Quayle, Newt Gingrich, Sarah Palin, Rick Pery, and on & on & on.)
Next thing to happen was the G-Suit, and it happened quick.
Mitt Romney pulls in $6 million at Beverly Hills fundraiser...
Six million?
Perhaps he should crack a few more jokes.

Most airliners have flight deck windows that can be opened in flight.
I own an airplane with a proper roll down window..glass pane too.
Not only do the airliners have open-able windows, but they also have separate and isolated HVAC systems for the flight deck.
Most “smoke in the cabin” problems on jet aircraft come from malfunctioning bleed air fed HVAC equipment. Shutting down the heat and pressurization, and ventilating the cabin with outside air clears the problem, but can only be done below 12,000 feet for any length of time.
A true cabin fire (wiring or other interior equipment burning) is a very dangerous condition on a jet aircraft. Just about every non metal component of aircraft interiore emit very toxic smoke when burned. Turning on the oxygen system very well could make things much worse (by further feeding the fire from ruptured lines) , and ventilating the cabin with outside air may not be able to sufficiently clear the cabin of smoke.
I’m not sure it will do much good but you could post the following: “Ashley Parker, a New York Times reporter who filed on the comments, tells New York magazine that “it was clear from the context that he was not being serious.”
You could tell them that America is that Airplane and there is no way to get out of the fire. You have to put it out together in Nov.
Pray for America
The Leftists cannot do anything but spin their bullshit.
They know Obama is toast, but they crave a dictator that will punish the producers and let us move into a USA that resembles Detroit with 90% bureaucrats and 10% military.
Millionaires who support Obama, you cannot fix suicidal.
