A hot button issue in the upcoming elections and one of the most contentious topics in the Republican Party is also the subject of former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush. Bush has started work on a book about immigration and landed a deal with Threshold Editions, a conservative imprint of Simon & Schuster, for "Immigration Wars: Forging An American Solution." Threshold announced Wednesday that the book is scheduled for next spring and will be co-authored by conservative attorney and activist Clint Bolick. Financial terms were not disclosed. "Drawing upon history and American ideals, Jeb Bush and Clint Bolick outline a courageous and comprehensive strategy to bridge the partisan divide and set our nation's immigration policy on a just and rational course," Threshold said in a statement. "The book will present a comprehensive solution based on two core principles: Immigration is vital to America's future, fueling its growth, vibrancy and creativity; yet any true and enduring solution must adhere to the rule of the law." The 59-year-old ex-governor has been urging his fellow Republicans to take on a more moderate tone on immigration, saying hard-line policies have led to lost elections. Bush himself was elected twice in a state with a substantial Hispanic population.

Note all Jeb Bush's liberal buzz-phrases in the above preview of the former governor's forthcoming tome:
".....need a courageous and comprehensive strategy"
".....bridge the partisan divide"
".....a just and rational course"
".....vibrancy and creativity"
".....take on a more moderate tone."
".....need a broader approach"
".....have to have a better tone going forward"
Note also the innate arrogance, the phony flights of oratory, the condescension, the digs that the amnesty thinking of us potato-faced peasants is NOT vibrant, creative, broad, rational, courageous or willing to bridge divides....and that our "tone" sucks.
What gives these self-appointed aristocrats the presumption to talk like this to us ???
Some may call it authoritative leadership, I call it self-perceived elitism and just plain gall.
Leni
Funny leni...
Why is it that no one asks this dickless fark what federal laws we actual citizens can break with impunity, and not get shipped back home to some third world toilet, for free, after zero time in the slam, special education funding and free medical care?
"We've got to have a better tone going forward over the long haul for sure. You can't ask people to join your cause and then send a signal that you're really not wanted. It just doesn't work."
= = = = =
Better tone?
How about first enforcing the laws already on our books?
Right on, Leni!
His high-minded attitude stinks.
Not really interested, Jeb. Bet he does not have a G-D thing to say about, or interview with, the LEGAL IMMIGRANTS to the United States who stood in line and paid and did everything right. Those from Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa and elsewhere. It's alllllll going to be about accomodating the hissssssssspaniccccs. Just you watch. And FIXING our system is code for AMNESTY. No way around it. That is their "fix" of the system. Not buying it, compadre Senor Yeb.
He is working hard towards the globalist goals.

Bush needs to spend his time 'helping' someone else - maybe an American or two for a change.
Somebody’s got to come up with a policy, or things will just limp along as they are - from one Democrat election year amnesty to the next. Glad Bush , who has the freedom of not running for anything right now, has the courage to put forward his ideas and take away one of the Dems’ favorite weapons.
So he is jockeying to be the next RINO to be shoved down our throats?
In a narcissistic smugness contest between Jeb “Amnesty” Bush and Jon “China” Huntsman, Bush would win hands down.
If only the great unwashed Tea Partiers would learn the errors of their ways and accept these “leaders” as benevolent dictators.
Bonus question: Other than party affiliation, what would be the difference between having Obama, Jeb, or Huntsman as President?
Answer: Different levels of competence but all pursuing exact same agenda.
No more "Compassionate Conservative" Booshes......ever!!!
Jeb is setting himself up for his presidential run.
And don’t you just know, It’s going to be Jeb Bush or the Dems once again. The game we never get tired of playing.
Let me guess. Let em all stay? Erase the border?
Elian Gonzalez could not be reached for comment.
Jeb is a traitor.
Yeah, really. Read LB’s autobiography and find out what she really thinks of conservatives. This is what makes so many RINOs—it’s the wives. It’s why we got that Bush amnesty pushed on us. Jeb is the smug and self righteous one of the family. He thinks because he married. Hispanic woman that he’s MOSES for immigrants.
